My mom's had a 1996 E36 328i since it was brand new, bought it with literally 10 miles on it, and still has it. Full optioned interior, convertible top. It still has under 100k miles. It's such a wonderful little car to drive on backroads, even in spite of it's little 90s BMW quirks.

This is my ideal spec E36. I'm an outlier, I prefer sedans over coupes when possible. All things considered, it's aged INCREDIBLY well-probably thanks to the upkeep from the owner!

What a great car! I know the 36 sometimes gets overshadowed by the 46 and the 30, but it’s a terrific car! And this is going to make sound like an old ass man, but it’s cool to see younger people appreciate these “older” cars. Thanks for the great drive Gents!

I just sold my manual sedan along with my e46m. It was a super clean example and I will always love that car. I have an e92m3 and it’s nice but I’m not in love with it yet. Old BMWs are just so good
@kamilb8232Ай бұрын
The intake induction noise adds so much to the overall noise. Also what a drastic difference how good this sounds compared to modern BMWs. Modern ones just seem farty. This sounds like actual motorsport.

Ironically I was in Bloomington IN yesterday visiting my kid at school and saw an M3 4/5. I told the family to wait up a bit so I could take a closer look. It was a clean car. Same color combo as this one.

As an E36 owner for some reason, I had a big feeling he was gonna pop the hood open through the corner light as soon as I saw that he didn't have one. Gotta find that good place to grab the cable and pull 😅

@@M-t3ch tbh whenever someone says 250k miles i just think of the engine not suspension etc. obliviously no one is gonna keep that shit stock or eventually you need to change it. 250k is impressive.

@itstoliyyeeeeeeee 100% anything by 200k is dead on a lot of cars. These especially, because they get driven hard. You could nurse it along to 300k with the OG parts, but then why bother buying an M3?

Man, I shouldn’t have clicked on this. I just sold my ‘97 M3 4/5 this past spring. I miss that car and wish I would have kept it. Stupidly, I listened to my wife who hated it and wanted it gone. I think she just didn’t like that I spent more time and money on it than her…lol
