Good afternoon Alexis and Louis from Miami, Florida USA! I'm JC (new subscriber) and am a recent retired Professional Educator (but still teaching p/t online). I have traveled to England and France (while teaching in Public Schools) on various student tours and visited various countries within Asia on my own (after being retired). I am planning to travel to Switzerland (possibly between April a d July) and visit various cities/villages through a group tour of approximately 10 days. I would prefer to land in Zurich. Do you have any specific group tour companies that you may be familiar with as I would feel more comfortable traveling by this method? Again, congratulations on your baby and best wishes in Geneva!

This is excellent!! However, On the road trip section I could not figure out what most of the places were. Auto captions didn’t help. It’d be great to show how each place is spelled on the video.

Louis your recommendation on the Zurich to Lucerne road trip sounds awesome and looks beautiful. Great tips on saving money on food - we do that most places just so we can keep sightseeing. That outdoor pool and Alps view was amazing. And big congratulations on your announcement!! I hope the move goes well and so exciting about your baby :)

Congratulations on the baby! Would love if you could do some videos on th maternity and birth experience in Switzerland! (If comfortable for you of course). I think a lot of people would love to know about the baby side of Swiss health care.

I was wondering if people would find this interesting! I've been asked a few times about this so I'm definitely considering it. Anything particular you'd want to know?

@@TheTravelingSwiss I would love to hear about the care you received in the time leading up to birth as well as your hospital stay (if your having a hospital birth) as well as how they handle post birth health of mom and baby. I had my first child in the US, and really felt like birth kind of just happens to us, and we are lucky or unlucky with our experiences based on who happens to be there that day. As someone who is considering a move to Switzerland, I would just love to hear about it and see if its better than the US. (spoiler, i can guess it probably is. lol). Thanks!

My greatest wish is to tour Switzerland by Electric Recumbent Trike, but I cannot find a Tour Company or a Hire company which has them or uses them. Is there a valid reason for this? Germany is the home of HP Velotechnik who make a range of recumbent trikes but they are only next door to Switzerland. My concept would be to use Trains or Buses to take me up to the Mountain tops, see the resorts and then, the piece de resistance would be the downhill ride back to the valleys, find a reasonably-priced Hotel or Motel with some sort of security for the trike. Is this feasible or is there some reason why it is not available?

Can you show us how to use the public bus and trains that goes locally using Swiss Travel Pass. Is it like in Italy, Paris, Barcelona that you have to scan your pass when boarding the bus?

In Switzerland it’s pretty easy! You just get on the bus or train, etc. and the tickets will be randomly controlled when you’re already on board

Hi Tim - Louis' family is from Geneva, so we thought it would be nice to have the baby a bit closer to family :) - I think both cities would be great places to raise a child!
