There's always some little things that you notice and compare the differences .I can relate :) I came here in Canada for almost 3 years now and there are things that I need to adjust but not like major adjustments but you noticed little things specially you're not used to it and new to you . I also been in hk for almost 5 years :) yes ,it's very expensive there too . We definitely would love to travel to Switzerland, there are stunning places and mountains that we would love to hike and explore . Great video and information.

Hello! I have a question on receiving gifts in Switzerland. Is it better to open a gift in front of the giver, or wait until they’ve gone? Also, if you’re invited to someone’s home for dinner or a party, what would be an appropriate gift to bring for the host, if anything? Thank you!

Hi! Thank you for all your content and helpful videos on Switzerland 🇨🇭 it's a beautiful country! My husband and I are 50 and 60, retired and financially independent. We would like to know what you recommend we do to start looking into possibly living in Switzerland? We are US citizens right now traveling; however, after visiting part of Switzerland we fell in love and are very interested in making it our home as expats for our near future. What advice can you give us while we make several visits to Switzerland in exploring our possible options to live in Switzerland? Thank you for your helpful tips and any information we can have as a guide!🤗

Hi Alexis and Louise . Love your tips. I am planning to travel to Europe in May for 5 weeks from Australia. Just confused if I should buy EURAIL pass only or I should buy SWISS Pass for Switzerland and EURAIL pass for the rest of the countries or should I buy SWISS pass and then the point to point ticket. Your recommendation would be much appreciated.

Great video! Full of good info. Not sure if anyone has asked this but I'm curious how the banking system works for a US citizen. I've heard some many conflicting statements of "yes, you can" to "absolutely NOT!" What's the truth?

Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

if Americans move to Switzerland in such big numbers, it will soon not be Switzerland any more. I wonder, if all the people who move to Switzerland, also take their time to learn one of the 4 languages spoken there.

Out of the 2 million foreigners, 18,000 are American. Representing 1% of the immigrant population and .2% of the country overall
