For the first time going to Cinque Terre I really liked the water taxi, because you got to see all the towns from the sea which made it great! After that I’d prob take the train like you said, it’s easiest for sure! I think the all day water taxi pass was like 37 euro each…not sure. Good video!! Thanks for sharing!

Hi, and thanks for your input. 5 Terre are indeed spectacular. But it depends on your interest. Every fishing village in Italia is the same. 5 Terre has the instagram hype, especially il sentiero azzurro. I fell in love with La Spezia because of its character and authenticity. But yes, I agree. Other towns like Lerici are more worth it.

Hello, I have a few questions.. So, 1. Which city is best to stay in if I have a family with 1 kid and am worried about carrying luggage after getting off the train? It sounds like Monteressso is the one, but can you confirm? 2. To take some of those pictures from the cliffside where the colored houses are in background, do I need the hiking pass? 3. Which city would still be the most stroller friendly ? I'm thinking I may not be able to cover all the cities and this may determine where I go 4. Do you have any information the ferries? would that be a better way to experience cinque de terre if i dont think i can carry my kid everywhere 5. Lastly, I am still conflicted between Amalfi and Cinque de terre.. If you have been to amalfi, which one would you recommend between the two? My main constraint is mobility. I want to make sure that I can cover as much ground given i'm travelling with a family
