Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala (27) was cremated at his native Moosa village in Mansa district on Tuesday. His mother combed his hair for the last time while his father tied the turban.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

He put Punjabi music and its old school culture on the map around the world. He lived without any fear, even when he was getting death threats. He was never involved with the gang lifestyle. He could have had united Pakistan and India just with his influence in both countries. He was a simple jatt with an extremely rare talent for creating a new generation of music. He was brutally murdered and shook communities across the globe. His death will spark either a revolution or we will see history repeat itself. In the end all he did was make music and do better for his people. RIP Legend..

Sidhu's gang had killed an Akali Leader of opposite gang and also killed another member of rival gang who was sidhu's killer's cousin. The gang decided to kill sidhu to avenge those two murders. There was information that sidhu's life was in danger even though he is innocent but still the CM of Punjab took away his security because sidhu was from the opposition political party. less than 24 hours after the security was taken away, sidhu was brutally murdered by goldy brar who was in the rival gang of sidhu.
