They all have been sitting on the floor in churches in Tamil Nadu since hundreds of years benches or no benches it doesn’t matter. When Jesus preached thousands of his listeners sat on the ground and grasses with no benches. Benches in churches are brought by western Christians. I have a friend from Andhra Pradesh, and he told me that many people in his village have converted, yet they show themselves as hindus on paper. In fact, a lot of villages have converted (entire population), yet we don't get to know about it because they use hindu names. I am from jharkhand, and many people here also have converted yet unknown to the general mass. I am just assuming that the real number of Christians could he over 5crs, probably close to 8cr in India. The same goes for the muslim population. Many have come from bangladesh (I have seen a certain spike in the muslim population in jharkhand), yet it feels like they are nowhere in the counting.

Our wedding functions are also the same .giving sadee and tying the manual sthr by the bridegroom. Our church festivals and temple festivals are conucted the same way with all the traditional golden umbrellas and Chenda melam.we never used fight for religious reasons .but now salafi zIslam has brought the unnecessary rift among people and that has actually destroyed social fabric of Kerala.Christianity is required in the North to bring prosperity to the BIMARU states!it has brought so much progress to the South.

The lower cast people need help in education, equal status in the society. The Pentecostal people teach the bible thoroughly and the community will be there always to help these poor people. Funding will be from local church or people itself'. Mostly 10% of the income go the church and they help poor people with it. It will be very difficult change the mind of Pentecostal people to go back to Sikhism. Once they become Christians, there will be total changes in life. Then they don't drink and other bad habits. The life become smooth. There will be a helping nature among the members. Respect, education, social status and uplifting of the society etc. in the group. Others are watching ,so they change to Christianity.

So isn’t it good they have peace inside. Drinking is a big problem in Punjab. When you don’t drink and get out of control that removes so many ill things from the society. Government should be great full to the Christian churches who are making difference in poor people’s lives. Hindu’s has got lot of money why don’t they up lift the low caste people and give them equal rights but they don’t want to. Jesus came in this world for poor, sick and neglected people so that’s what they are preaching. They are not doing it to bribe them that’s what Christianity is all about.

The main reason why Christianity is growing amongst Sikhs in Punjab (and in countries like Iran) is because NO can stop the move of the Holy Spirit of the living God. When Jesus starts a revival in a land, no government and not even the gates of hell can prevail against it. Praise be unto our Lord Jesus Christ and may he grant his saints in these countries peace, courage and safety. Amen!
