Thank you for another bomb shell of a video. In my late twenties my appendix ruptured 3, times over a year and a half span. The first two times I didn't know that it was my appendix, my body capped it and was able to pull me through. At that time I was very religious and thought it was a miracle, but the third time I nearly died because I thought it would miraculously go away. If it hadn't been for my dad forcing me to go to the emergency room, I would be dead now. After surgery, the surgeon explained the previous two ruptures and how they were capped off from my own body trying to survive, but scientifically developed procedure saved my life. The alpha male mentally is prevalent only on patriarchal cultures. It serves as a way to justify a singular male being desirable over most. But if you look in matriarchal cultures you see one female to multiple males and she is the one being sought out. That behavior is similar to what we see in nature. The problem with the alpha male mentally is that it states that ALL men/women are hardwired to behave in a specific way. When you look at behavior from cultures that aren't white you see mentalities that nullify the alpha male school of thought. To say that all of humanity is hardwired with the alpha male mentality is wrong.

@@thetypingape2073 Sadly that might be the case. Before internet dating (that gives the option of a broader dating pool), people were stuck with what was available within their local area. Now that people have more traveling options, there's a wider area to select a partner from. Communities tend to think the same and behave the same. If a community lives with the alpha male mentally, than most likely all within that community will have the same mindset, and think that it's how humanity as a whole functions. The placebo effect can lead to measurable physical manifestations. The strength of the psychic has a real impact on our physique. For example, having good morale boosts our immune system. This hope or this faith is only a drug that helps to feel better like an anxiolytic could do on an anxious person. Personally, I prefer to accept with lucidity the harsh reality of nothingness without the medication of a sweet illusion. Calmly accepting the nonsense of existence seems to me nobler than wanting at all costs to cling to various soothing beliefs. The real strength of being does not consist in avoiding but in accepting reality. If I want to be at peace with myself, I will not seek to postpone the inevitable but on the contrary, I embrace it... (William Shakespeare). I am now at peace with the idea that life has to mean only what we want to give it. Death or nothingness will only be the return to my original condition, the one in which I was before exiting. No more fear of death, no more need for illusion. There is real freedom that is not subject to any belief. Accepting in full consciousness our finitude without fear or bitterness gives a serenity that goes far beyond all beliefs and superstitions.

Our bodies ABSOLUTELY show that intelligent design is NOT a thing. Some people make it through life with very little sickness or injuries, but others just get beat up. Our backs are a weak spot; especially the lower back. I have had issues with that for years. We are upright creatures and yet gravity works against us every moment we live. Pulling us down, and stooping us over. You really nailed it down!

I appreciate your calm, direct, logic-based approach to debunking the existence of a personal, supernatural entity as a viable explanation of the origin of the universe & all it contains. Sure, I enjoy some other channels' use of sometimes scathing humor designed, I presume, to embarass believers into not believing, but I doubt their approach is very effective. It probably just puts believers on the defensive. Your gentle voice eases them into reaching the right conclusion based on fact-based evidence with sounding an alarm that their beliefs are under attack. I watch those other channels for a laugh. I turn to you when I want an effective argument. You actually stand a chance of opening people's eyes, making a difference in the world. And you are ROCKING that hair! Keep it up! ✌🏼

I have a problem when people make strong assertions. Our knowledge of the world is still limited, to take the opinion of others without investigating it yourself is giving others your responsibility to think. All of us have a brain, we need to look at all the evidence. Ancient peoples believe the sun go around the earth, just a superficial look at it it may appear true. But investigating the other evidence leads to a different conclusion. I am not saying all ancient peoples were wrong, we need to look closely at the evidence.

Hey! I've been meaning to ask, have you considered making a video about the story of Jephthahs daughter? I grew up in a Reform Jewish family, my father is a theoretical physicist, my mother an engineer. In my religious education, the entire Torah was taken as metaphor and myth, the product of many different cultures over an extended period. The order of the books is not the same as the order the bulk of the content was written, instead some priestly editor took a collection of sacred (to the sect they belonged to) texts and stories and combined them in a narrative order. This happened many times, and from this arose the Torah which was carried with the Jews to Babylon during the first diaspora. The other books were written and collected later, all the work of man, not the God itself. The purpose of the Tanauch is to inspire an understanding of God's intention in the creation and a desire to learn more. At no time was it implied that I should take biblical verses as a literal description of how the universe works. There was no perceived conflict with science because the bible is not a scientific work. None of the Bible is literally true. My family, and the Jewish community I grew up in, had no problems with modern evolutionary theory, physics, biology, geology, chemistry, archeology, paleontology, and a lot of other ologies that the fundamentalists from all Abrahamic religions face. I knew many Conservative and Orthodox Jews growing up, but didn't encounter fundamentalist Jews until I was in my 20s. Now, in my 60s, I no longer believe in a thinking God who intentionally created the universe or has any interest in our world (or anything). I'm what you might classify as an atheist with Jewish cultural baggage. I still identify as Jewish, but have no belief in God. For me, it's the community, not the faith. So I can't say that having some faith in a God is antithetical to science, but science is not compatible with some faiths.

I hope you won't be mad at God over your diabetes. In reality, God does so many things for you that you do not even realize. Are you familiar with the book of Job in the Bible? God allows satan to totally mess this guy over. Some people complain that God should not have allowed it, but I look at it from a different way. That is, in order for evil to reach you, God has to allow it to happen. That means that, if you reject God, He will not protect you from the evil that others do. In fact, Jesus spoke of torturers in hell. Pain has a purpose. It is supposed to get your attention so you will do something about it. Cursing the pain is bad, but blaming God is infinitely worse! I have diabetes and have no choice but to deal with it. However, Christ chose to go to the Cross so that you might live pain-free in eternity. Your choice: eternal suffering (your own fault) or eternal pain-free living. I hope to see you in heaven. It's going to be great! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

@@itsROMPERS... My life is going by while I am in a fantasy? I was raised by an atheist! I knew atheism was a lie long before I picked up a Bible! For example, is it true that right and wrong do not exist? What about bravery and valor? How can you have morality without God? Is morality a fantasy? Is it perfectly ok for people to sex traffic kids? As an atheist, you have no basis to call anything 'evil' because, like every other atheist, you make your own rules. You claim that you came from nothing, are going to nothing, but have something to say? As an atheist, you identify with a negation. Your life is empty and meaningless. I know don't know how you get up each morning to live your totally non-meaningful life. After this 'practical joke' you call life, you will go into eternity. If our eyes meet on judgment day, when God calls you into account for every lie, ever theft, and every treason, know that I have warned you. If you die in your amorality, you will be stuck with the most wicked of people for all eternity. Yet, I met Christ at the age of 17. It is a friendship. The Holy Spirit that bore witness that Christ died on a Cross for me, but you are like a person who looks at the surface of the ocean and claims that fish do not exist; you have no basis to say that there is no life after death, but I do because I know Christ. I know, of a certainty, that you will either be partying in heaven or stuck with the likes of Adolf Hitler and Attila the Hun. Hell is real and it is torment forever. I hope you make it to heaven. As an all-time unbeliever with circumstancial background in biology, I wasn't surprised by the information revealed here. Though, I felt satisfied to see that at least _some_ religious devotees can figure out that modern evolutionary biology conclusively falsified any claim of biological teleology on Earth's biosphere, let alone Homo sapiens, besides what _we_ did ourselves. So many believers quickly ignore the damning implications of accepting the conclusions of evolutionary biology, for their faiths anyway.
