Not sure if you've noticed, but the high priestess has her eyes closed, and open at the same time. If you are holding the card facing you and tilt the top backwards slightly so you're looking at an angle, they look very open 👍

I wonder myself why there is a little big difference between this deck and the rest I've watched on media. I mean the *10 Of Swords* card isn't the same at all. To put it bluntly, I prefer this version because of the lady's healing process where It is said you begin a new stage with the scars of what you've learnt (physical or emotional). The "lesson" nuance seems an essential factor for an accurate interpretation, instead the conventional image of a lady facing backwards who is gazing the horizon. This one fades the strenght away because the raven/swords are leaving, so, bad things are running away from your life. Thus, magically, it seems you're set free from it (and maybe it's only mental or emotional). I prefer the card which suggests you're carriying troubles or whatever around (and then, if learnt, you will become wiser in your new stage). It was an opinion because I really love indeed this Tarot. One of my great favourites!. Thank you very much for sharing this lovely walkthrough.

Jackie Zivna Yes I did and it’s my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! Definitely my top tarot deck now, it’s sooooo dreamy and accurate. The book that comes with it is great and the pictures are so colorful it’s like they’re alive! Very happy with this purchase. You will be too, I guarantee it! Moonchild tarot and Textured tarot are my other faves too. And I can’t forget the original OG RWS which is what I started out with first so I’ll always have a sweet spot for that one. :) I like to think of that one as my “swords/air” deck, moonchild as my “cups/water” deck, textured as my “pentacles/earth” deck, and light seers as my “wands/fire” deck cuz they all give off that type of energy for me :D

Best deck ever. So easy to read. It talks to you. I'm totally addicted to tarot but if I'm not using decks I move them on. Don't need anymore for a while. Happy with my light seers 💖

Really enjoyed watching you go through & yes we can take a moment to just ogle those beautiful edges , so stunning & vibrant. I particularly resonated & appreciated your discussion of how the 10 of wands work for you in this one. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve been in hospital appointments etc or having flare ups & people say “but you look fine”. I’m so glad that resonated with you, we found that sometimes with Michael too, in the inbetween spaces when he wasn’t wearing oxygen, people just assumed he was younger but didn’t always see his sickness. Not to mention so many people have said to me when I was a younger mother that I was super woman and holding it all together and yet inside I was utterly devastated, so once I looked again it made me think we have no idea what is going on in this girls life, I know this will now be a powerful card showing up for me!

just got this deck. 7 of wands is my spirit card, and i don’t like this depiction. temperance makes my heart full, and the queen of pentacles is the most beautiful queen i’ve ever seen. i’ve been breaking in and cleansing my deck, haven’t done any readings with it yet. i’m hoping the cards grow on me, i’m not feeling super connected to this deck. it’s is absolutely stunning though. guilded my edges black as well, it looks phenomenal! fingers crossed i connect to these 😊

Not finished watching.. and I may comment again But the lovers card Does have an angel indirectly on it! Cupid's bow is in her arm 😘 I actually love this..cause I feel the name better embodies the card here ..than the RW Tarot However I definitely prefer the symbology of the RW more I just feel being called the lovers? It makes more sense to be about a more romantic love ..than just "love" in general..which guides all our decisions. It just feels more resonate to me..because of its name. I didn't think about it before this card .but now I am curious if there is another card that depicts a major choice? Oh . Maybe the fact one person is African and the other isn't..could be symbolic of the Light and the Dark.. so to say (no offense meant) The polarities found in the Biblical symbology of the RW..Adam and Eve the Snake and the fruit (Have more words ... But let's not side track again 😂 let's just say the fruit may have been to admired and not ate ) Anyways.. I just thought I would point out Cupid's Bow

Love this deck. Personally I want the kings to look older. They're WAY TOO YOUNG. I don't know how old the creator is but to me they're not thinking beyond what they know. Kings to me should be minimum 50years old going to their 80s even 90s.

Queens too! Everyone looks very young and of course traditionally beautiful. And the women’s bodies are unrealistic, only maybe 5-10% of women have bodies like that (almost anorexic)

is this a walkthrough or a judgement on the deck? Times have changed. those who don't or already didn't adapt will always be scared of the new ideas. It would be incredibly boring that everything was the same. For that you have religion, school systems and the army.

An exploration from my perspective or processing through the deck, I suppose. I use this deck all of the time and find it to be a very solid reader-sometimes in analyzing something it runs the risk of coming across as a judgment, something I always need to be careful of not doing. Mine feel nice and sturdy. But plasticy at all, very matte. Maybe you got a bad batch. I would contact Hay's publishing, because they really messed up with the first few batches they put out. You should read some of the reviews on Amazon. I just got my deck a week ago and it's amazing.
