Thank you for these generous walkthroughs. Like I said, your reviews are like a mini-class in symbolism and tarot. I dream of the idea you offering an online class where you did one detailed walkthrough on each card in the deck.

Your walkthroughs are the best! I had been on the fence about this deck, but after seeing all of the beautiful images and the depth of the symbolism behind them, I know I have to have it. Been watching your videos for a few months then came across this a couple weeks ago and finally found a deck that I could really see myself using and really connect to! So I ordered it and it finally came and I've been using it for a little over a week and I CANNOT GET ENOUGH of this deck!!! Oh I am so Jealous! I pre-ordered this from Amazon weeks ago and it was supposed to arrive today but for some reason there has been a delay for this deck on Amazon :( This deck is just stunning and the book seems incredible! I love that she added information on the plants and such a long description of each card. Very interesting astrological correspondences too, I like that. This deck never made it to my wish list as it never appealed to me initially, but recently at my favourite tarot shop it called to me. I love it more than i ever thought i would. I think possibly i never really LOOKED at it and may have thought it was too plain. In reality there is lots going on in a simplistic drawing. I especially love the watercolor as it is one of my favourite mediums. (Note: check out the 2 of pentacles again...if you level the background, he is truly balancing in the new awkward position). Great review!

In comparing this deck to The Fountain Tarot deck, what are your general thoughts regarding how these two are similar and different?

I love the watercolors and the simplicity of the images but there’s a conflict with different styles. It should either be animal-centric, or people focused, gee they even threw in animals dressed like humans. And there are a few cards with images within circles. I guess it feels disjointed to me although it is beautiful.

Hoping you might clarify.. regarding the card stock of the animal totem, I have heard you mention in two videos that it was thick. I just purchased the deck and the stock in very thin and super slippery. Also, very easy to bend the card or mess the corners. Did they change the stock? Was looking at the linestrider.. wondering if my animal totem deck is a fair comparison.

Apparently what you have is the 3rd cardstock and newest from Llewellyn. I loved old Llewellyn cardstock as a riffle shuffler, 2nd incarnation Llewellyn cardstock I have in the Linestrider and the Animal Totem and it is thicker and more card boardy. The new cardstock (which you have) is a bit thinner than the original and definitely slippery.
