There's a place here called Jason's Deli. They make a Bigger Better BLT. Take a regular BLT. Add more bacon. Then add avocado slices. Then add a fried egg. The whole thing just works. It's quite remarkable. It tastes a bit better with a runny egg so you get the yolk everywhere but then you have to manage the mess as you eat it. Not worth it. I just get the egg fully cooked. Also they have free ice cream there so I eat a cone while I'm waiting and eat another after I eat the sandwich. You won't want a normal BLT ever again.

There used to be a cafe near to where I live called the secret garden and they made the best burgers that I have had. They used to change the menu weekly and press the steak burgers fresh to order with different fries to. They were divine, I went there a day or two before they sadly closed and the chef doubled up the burger for me because she knew me and how much I loved their food. I do like a good burger.

Gourmet burgers are nice but give me a great tasting "regular" burger without all the toppings. Still, watching this was hilariously funny, especially at the 1:31 mark where Callyann starts snorting! 🤣 I'd love to go out to eat with her anytime. I also found it funny that Graeme said (9:15) about the Mighty burger that it was too big and hard to eat and they should only have one patty and call it the "Weenie" 😅 or the "Half Mighty"....this, after pretty much eating all the burgers that he was given. One burger place around me use to make a burger that was just spectacular. 2 8oz patties, 2 slices of aged cheddar on each patty, sweet potato fries ON the burger, bacon, and smokehouse mayo on a brioche bun. It was so messy to eat but it was so damn good. They have since discontinued it which makes me sad, but I'll always have my memories. 🤤🤤

Paddy is totally right bacon on anything makes it better. In many parts of the U.S. bacon is considered it's own food group I do have a legit question is it common in Ireland to completely roach your burgers. Everyone looks like a hockey puck void of any color. Can you order Medium rare or medium?

@@englishatheart And today, I learned that.. so frustrating when it really feels like a present possessive. English has wackadoodle rules for non letter characters. Anywhere else the apostrophe would indicate possession, and not just the missing letter in a contraction. Ie Bobby's bike, the cat's collar or the cats' collar, summer's heat. For me, this is a rule that needs to be broken on the grounds that it makes no sense with the other rules.

Irish Pub around here has the habanero burger. Over easy egg, siracha bacon. Avocado, red onion, feta and habanero sauce. It is spicy and crazy only had it twice.

Love me a good gourmet burger. When I do home made, I try to use as much home made/sourced ingredients as possible - Bun, patty, tomato, BBQ sauce. The best restaurant bought I had was in Everett WA, and it was an Elk burger mixed with beef, and sriracha sauteed onions. Holy crap, that was fantastic.

LA bama burger at gringos in Houston TX. 1/2 lb black Angus pattie grilled. Pico de gio, jalapeño jack cheese, avacodo slices. Red onion, slightly grilled, still crunchy lil house spiced mayo, ground mustard, on a grilled sweet onion bun. Add bacon of course.

For me it’s about which cuts of meat are ground, how the meat is seasoned before cooking, and type of bread used for the bun. Get those things correct before piling on condiments and toppings.

I hear ppl all the time say when I want a burger I dont want veg. But man when you add them with intention and skill - you end up with something amazing. Though you also need good meat with a little something something added. As someone with serious muscle issues/TMJ I HATE tall food its a quick way to getting a super painful cramp in my face - its so bad my entire body spasms as I have to dig my thumbs into my neck and face muscles along my jaw.

there's a burger joint in the US called Sickie's Garage...some really crazy concoctions there...my 2 favs were The Twin Cam - burger with peppered bacon and nacho cheese BETWEEN TWO grilled cheese sandwiches for buns.......and The Hangover - Burger wrapped with bacon, topped with grilled ham, TWO fried eggs served on a giant glazed donut for a bun...insane burgers at that place

At Mulligans in San Clemente they have a pickle wedge on top with a large knife through the 6 inch tall burger. Mine had green chile, pepper jack, large beef patty, more pepper jack, onion slice (1/2" thick) two large fat tomato slices, lots of lettuce, a very large bun and a tray of your condiments of choice, and no way could you bite it from top to bottom unless you have the mouth of a gator.

Bacon avocado burgers are great because of the way that the flavors and "mouthfeels" interact, but to make it even better it needs an egg. Because eggs and bacon go together well, and avacado and eggs go together well, but all three...incredible. Sometimes you can mix 3 things together that work in separate pairs but when all 3 are combined it fails...bacon, egg, and avocado succeeds, and it doesn't matter if they're on a burger, in a salad, or just those 3 on a plate...they work.

For those saying the meat looks dry and overdone, this is the Try channel. If it was dry, they would have let us know. As to overcooked, ground beef should usually be fully cooked for food safety, whereas properly managed steak can be quite pink to red in the middle and still generally not make most people sick. This is what I was taught for my food handler's license. Considering these burgers were probably delivered or picked up, and then had to sit awhile before serving, I think they made the right call.

You all should tell your burger joints to get Sliders! They're like two-bite burgers and you can put tons of different toppings on them. Mmm, now I want to go to a burger bar! Caramelized onions, mushrooms, swiss cheese, garlic mayo... toasted buns... Followed by crispy onion rings, cheddar, sweet relish, and good dijon mustard... Brioche bun... I don't like ketchup or catsup...Butter burger and bacon with steamed onion, gouda cheese, toasted bun, and a nice garlic dill pickle on the side... 🤣 Damn now I'm hungry!
