It actually happened here in South Australia two months ago. A young woman popped into a shop to buy some bread, not intending to be long so she left the car running and the baby strapped in the car seat. Guy parks in the space next to her, gets out the vehicle (which is believed to be stolen) and sees the car next to him still running so he takes a quick look inside, goes back to the car he arrived in, grabs a jacket and a bag and decides to drive off in the woman's car. She comes out the shop just as he's backing out and getting ready to drive off, unsuccessfully tries to stop him so she goes back in the shop to call police. Car and baby are found just over two hours later, mother is absolutely distraught the whole time and no doubt blaming herself for her silly error but it shows how quickly it can happen.

I think the family gathering was the funniest. Her response to it being too cold to dig her family up from their graves was hilarious. That comment alone made me burst out laughing. @@MsJimmysgirl I've had friends throw parties about nachos. Literally, just a party so we can hang out and eat different kinds of nachos. It doesn't matter what 'reason' you have for an event, even if it's a reason that seems stupid, when someone you love throws a party and tells you "hey I don't see you very often and I'd like to see you at this event". It's not about the party, or the theme it's about reaching out for connection. It's about the fact that a person you love wanted to see you, and you decided that it wasn't important to make time for them.

I’ll grant you it was a witty rejoinder. That friend was a real bell end for making her friend swallow her boasting about her family and throwing a purple fit the one time her friend clapped back, not cool. The gender reveal party people have some issues. The mother is not cool with her daughter’s choice despite saying it. Calling it a satirical gender reveal party made sense to her friend group, but her mother isn’t in that group or of that generation. There had to be some other excuse to throw a party, go online and look up a “this day in history,” and call it a party commemorating some event. Almost any day of the calendar has something to commemorate.

I totally did the last one to my husband when our son was very young, maybe 4 years old. We were at Walmart and I left our son with him. I told him to make sure he kept his eyes on him at all times. I walked away to use the restroom. When I came back my husband was chatting with someone he knew and our son was walking around the area by himself in the crowded store. I calmly took his hand and walked away to shop. My husband had his back to us so he never noticed. At some point he realized our son was gone and freaked out. I heard the Amber alert announced for a missing child. Yes, he was pissed at me that day but I told him I could have been anybody and this is why you watch your child. Our son is now 22. It'd be worse if the windows were up & the car off, as cars can literally cook a person in the heat w/out the A/C on... Yeah that was my first thought too, that even if you wanna be naive enough to think kids never get kidnapped, there's still the fact that it overheats. Ain't no parents with dead kids to forgotten in a car that planned for that to happen, it's because they forget or think something will be quick and it's not and they forget that time is ticking and they come out to a dead child. Just no, do not leave your kids in the car.

The woman that couldn't be bothered going to her daughter's get together because she was too busy, and obviously has no sense of humor, should be grateful that she has a daughter that wants to spend time with her. People can be gone in an instant. I regret not seeing my mother more often when I could have. The woman that left her baby in the car is lucky that it was her husband that took the baby. She needs to watch some videos of people pleading for the return of their stolen children. I have a relative that used to leave her babies in the car all the time while she ran in to go shopping. Another relative happened upon her car one day with her baby inside and called the police to report a child left alone in the car. She also would go bum cigarettes from the neighbors and stay to chat while her baby was sleeping. She did it one day and had left a pan of candy cooking on the stove that caught on fire while she was gone. Thank God she came back before the house caught on fire. I applaud the woman that gave her nephew the game. I would have been livid if my husband used emergency money for a game.

My best friend had a shoestring budget wedding, and she paid her photography $200 but her photography was only there for 2 hours not 10 hours and she didn’t tell her photographer she couldn’t have any food at the wedding

I LOVE the Try crew trying foods... but, I think now I ALSO love watching them read AITA's.... I've got it... have them respond to AITA's WHILE DRUNK! OK, that might not be a good idea... but, then again, maybe it would?

I'm a huge fan and have watched every video on your channel, and I'm so glad to see you do more than eating and drinking vidoes again. I love those, (especially the drunk ones, hehe) but I also missed when you would react to like movies, tv shows and video games. Hope to see that again too :D

Dang! Ciara was simply savage with the "don't give away your leverage" on the photos. I truly agree with her. But the child being left alone in the car. NO! she was dead wrong. Where I live had the police happened upon this. More than likely the child would be with child services, and she would be down at the precinct trying and failing to explain why she did it.

I would have taken my son, called 911 and told them to prepare for her call, and to have the responding officers drag her through hell and back. Then, they could let her know he was home safe and sound! MORE AITA please!!!

In the last one the mother was totally the asshole and she needs to apologize and get a damn clue! A woman in my area almost had her baby stolen when someone tried to steal her car at a gas station. She's lucky she was close enough to notice and fight the guy before he could take off! Don't Ever leave kids, Especially babies alone in a car. It's irresponsible and lazy and just plain stupid!

A long tome ago,( 20 something + years) I had a habit of setting my wallet down on the counter when checking out with a cashier. So, my friend was behind me one day, reached out and took my wallet. I seriously thought I had been robbed. He handed my wallet back to me and told me that it was a bad habit and that I could have been robbed just that quickly. yes I was Pissed that he thought he had to " teach me a lesson" but the lesson stuck and to this day I am thankful. I GUARANTEE that the wife won't leave that child unattended in the car again. He is not the a-hole . she is. She may not like being taught a lesson , but she won't forget it either.

With the thing where the father took the kid to prove a point: my mom did a similar thing at Disney when my aunts were watching me. They kept walking ahead of me and not watching me when I was like 4 years old. So to prove a point to them after telling them multiple times to watch me while I was in their company, when they took me out to do something, she waited then tailed along after us. Once she saw they weren't watching me, she pulled me back so they couldn't see me or her and watched as they panicked. Before things could get bad with them calling security or the cops, she came out like "THAT'S why you need to watch her." They listened lol
