Since Teeling has only been opened since 2015, any whiskeys older than 8 years were distilled by the Cooley Distillery. John J. Teeling founded the Cooley Distillery and sold it in 2007, but the Teeling family maintained a good relationship with Cooley in the form of a whiskey supply contract.

10/10 Whiskey video. The pairings were also top notch! I applaud Justine for saying that she liked the Stout Cask better than the other two really expensive selections. Just because something is super expensive doesn't mean it's always going to be better. Wild Turkey 101 is my favorite bourbon and it's about $50 U.S. for 1.75L, Old Forester 1920 would be a close 2nd but it's $60 U.S. for 750ml so it's usually a weekend pour. Irish Whiskies, I haven't had an Irish Whiskey that I wouldn't drink, having said that, Proper Twelve would probably be my least favorite that I've tried (for its proof point, 80 proof, on the nose it has a very strong aroma of ethanol that carries over to the palate). My favorite would probably be Redbreast Cask Strength but at $100 U.S. for 750ml, I usually save it for weekend pours also. Love these Whiskey shoots!
