The Kaukau Nuva is ok , but i wish that it was thinner.

I remember being a child and not even being able to tell if this character was female or not. The name sounded so strange and almost androgynous, I just couldn't tell! A good set, about on the same level as Tahu Nuva in terms of quality in my opinion.

Lorewise, Gali does have hands, even in her Mata forms, the hooks were just something she wore on them, like gloves. Only Onua Mata did not have hands, but seeing as his claws pretty much worked like hands, that's a moot point :D

Another good review! My sister had this set once, but I have no idea where I went. Perhaps it swam away? Now that you mention it, Gali Nuva's arms do sort of look like loose robe sleeves. I wonder if that was intentional on Lego's part....

when i think of the original kaukau. i think of hahli rather than gali. whereas the kaukau nuva portrays more of a gali look

All the Toa Nuva are great and also are exelent representation of the Toa been evoluted, but for Gali, I personaly think that Gali Mata is better than then her Nuva form. The same goes to Pohatu. Besides Pohatu and Gali, all the other Nuva forms are better than the Mata version. Its my opinion.

BestBioPlayer I prefer Pohatu Nuva. His torso looks a lot less messy, and he looks like a clear improvement overall, which is exactly what the Nuva were supposed to be.

I aid Pohatu Nuva, because the Nuva amor for Torso haves alot of gaps, the Mask is to big for the character, and the Nuva function of Pohatu (Kodan Ball), is actually pretty bad, comparaed with the other Toa.Besides Pohatu Mata includes a rock in the canister, and the Nuva version of Pohatu danst have.

ASleuOfThings The Mistika version of the Kaukau Nuva is connected via an axle; this mask is connected via the same method as all the other 2001-2002 masks.

I always wondered why they gave Gali nuva legs as arms? I can see why Takanuva has them because he has to wrap his arms around his vehicle to be able to ride it, but Gali could have easily have had normal arm pieces like the rest of the Toa Nuva.

I always hated the kaukau nuva because of how much wider it was than the original, as well as those little nostrils. It is reminiscent of a hippo due to those features.
