I'm gonna say, your backing skills are amazing. I don't drive commercially, but I do pull a 33 foot bumper-pull travel trailer with a 3/4 ton truck. I am almost 54 feet when connected. It is for sure a patience is a virtue experience. Especially when considering the "bendy part" is different than on a semi. Wish I could move my tandems sometimes, I get afraid of tail whip in a few places I have to back into. Blind side I avoid at ALL COSTS! Keep up the great videos. Love you channel.

Man Chuck, I know in a lot of ways before the internet things were simple but could you imagine running p&d without it. No Google maps/earth, probably rattling around in a old Ford C series, no power steering, no radio and the AC was a fan on the dash. I think technology is wonderful.

@@csxtq110 I don’t know? Have p&d guy’s days got longer? Or is there just more of them now? I do know that Roadway held on to those old C Series city trucks forever as I used to see them in the early 2000’s where I worked. I talked to p&d guys back then and the old timers since being a trucker myself and most seemed never more happy but to have a hand full of bills and a day’s challenge ahead. I started with Schneider in 07’ and on the OTR side I marveled at their stories of the International cabovers with no ac, no power steering, no cruise, no jakes and governed at the national speed limit of 55 mph.

Hi Chuck glad you got your truck back . So you do not have a steady run trailer . I had the same trailer everyday . Most of the time I stayed hooked to my run trailer. Keeping the same trailer I made sure I had good tires and the overhead door worked good . Specking of overhead doors Chuck you should close your door with your foot like when you open your door. Be safe ✌️

That sucks I loved having the same trailer. Had my trailer wheels set for my run . Overhead door was easy to open and close . Had a broom 🧹 in my trailer kept my trailer clean . It would be good if people included delivery instructions when ordering stuff. I worked for one company back in the day of ordering by phone and then confirming with a written order, the clerk would include a map as we were a construction company with many worksites in the location. It worked all the time the map was passed onto the driver, but sometimes they liked to stick em on the wall????
