Today we are back with another hero concept this time taking a look at qui-gon jinn. Today being the 20th anniversary of the phantom menace i thought it would be a great time to talk about some ideas for abilities, star cards, emotes and more that would suit qui-gon in battlefront 2!

Yes, i just want a melee unit that has like 800 HP to be tye tank reinforcement. Temple Guards for Republic. Magna guards for Separatists. Armored Honor guards for rebels? Imperial Guards for Empire Resistance Honor Guard for the Resistance? And Baton troopers/ Snoke's guards for First Order. And ideas for Infiltrators. Shock troopers for Empire Bothon Spy for Rebels Resistance Pilot. First order Pilot. And i also hope for something to go with droidekas. Droidekas for Separatists. Clone Commandos for Republic. Rebel Pilots for rebels. Imperial TIE Fighter pilot. I don't know for sequels.

Here's a possible abilities and emotes list for Bastila Shan, so let me know what you think (My abilities list goes Left, Right, Center (I recently added a fourth ability for Bastila so the last two abilities are her two Center abilities, Upper and Lower in that order)): -Fighting/Gameplay Style: Identical to Darth Maul (both use Double Sabers), but she's a little faster than him. -Tornado Strike: Bastila spins like a top, twirling her Lightsaber around her waist as well to deal major damage to all surrounding enemies (this can also be a guard-breaker attack). -Guided Throw: Similar to Darth Maul's Lightsaber throw, except Bastila throws hers horizontally, and it behaves like Palpatine's Chain Lightning, actively seeking out multiple enemies in front of her. -Battle Meditation: Bastila's signature Force Power, this ability doubles the damage output of her and her allies and halves the damage dealt by her enemies. -Force Whirlwind: Similar to Anakin's Retribution power, but it can be activated at any time, and though it lifts all enemies around Bastila, instead of choking them, it spins them around as though they are caught in miniature tornadoes. Emotes: -"The Force fights with me!" -"Fun? Driving me insane is your idea of a good time?!" -"I would never use the Force for such childish reasons." -"There is only Revan. Only he can shape this galaxy as it is meant to be shaped." -"You could be the savior of the galaxy, or you could bring untold destruction upon us all." -"The Force works as it will." And here are a few potential ability ideas I've come up with for Revan if he became an official Hero in this game (though he'd be a Hero, he'd still be named Darth Revan, due to his Grey alignment). Please know beforehand that these abilities and some of his emotes are based off moves and/or lines I've seen him use/say in Star Wars fan films (also remember my ability list goes Left, Right, Center (in his case, there are two Center abilities, Upper and Lower in that order)): -Force Onslaught: Revan spins 360 degrees before launching a two-handed heavy Force Push, then charges forward launching a second Force Push, followed by two quick Force Lightning strikes (one from each hand), and finishing the charge with a Lightsaber strike. Used in the fan film, Knights Of The Old Republic: Broken Souls. -Lightning Dome: Revan launches a dome of Force Lighting around him, shocking enemies wherever they are located. I think his telekinesis is a bit weird for Battlefront, I'd rather make a knockdown push like Dooku's stun. After all he's his student. So it be nice if he gets enemies to the ground for some quick attacks. As we saw in the movie, his push is kinda short, enemies don't fly away. They just kinda fall down.

This is how Telekinesis should be when you activate it, enemies will be lifted up into the air. With the hit button you can move them farther away from you, with the block button you will bring them closer to you. Thr direction they move depends on where you are looking at. Also a damage reduction maybe 40-50% you can also walk while holding enemies

This is good. Though I would replace a couple abilities: *Clairvoyance:* Qui-Gon is able to see through walls to his next opponent. Any allies within a certain range get a small health buff. Replaces Telekinesis. Effect: A Small area around Qui-Gon grants allies 50 Health. Allows him to see through obstacles to enemy players. *Extreme Meditation:* Qui-Gon sits down and focuses his power. Restoring his will to fight and enhancing his skills. Replaces Living Force. Effect: When activated Qui-Gon will sit down and restore up to 300 health. It will stop until he finishes recovering or is interrupted with damage. This ability would have a large recharge time. Around 40-45 seconds.

Left Ability: Qui-Gon disrupts his enemies focus with the force. (Like boba gets concussion rocket.) Middle ability: Decreases damage with 20-35% and makes Qui-Gon immune to all force abilities. My abilities would be L1: Unshaken, qui gonn can use the force to lock onto his targets for 15 seconds (like Finn’s deadeye) R1: Counter Intuition, qui gonn can Counter force effects on him and the counter pushes back the opponent (if it’s a hero they don’t get knocked down, but troopers in the area get knocked over) L1+R1: The Will Of The Force: qui gonn uses the force to disable enemy blasters and enemy lightsabers for 5 seconds, Edit: qui gonn would also have about 750 health, 10 offensive stamina, 6 defensive stamina, a low stamina Regen but an incredibly high health Regen because of how in tune with the force he is

Totally support this. Qui-Gon is one of my favourite Jedi Ever. I actually emailed EA Games directly and gave them a massive list of suggestions, and having Qui-Gon was one of them. Jedi Meditation L1 + R1 (HOLD) = The more Qui-Gon Jin meditates the more lighsaber damage will increase and will also shorten the time of his other abilities recharge Mind Bend L1 = A mobile attack, Qui-Gon Jin uses the force to trick the enemy locking there abilitys and there weapons... for 10 seconds... Force Concentration R1 = Qui-Gon Jin places his hand gently on the floor and become inmobile for 10 seconds and have a 40% damage reduction, all damage and force abilitys will be turned against the one who shot them (all who shot them) Health: 700 Health Regeneration: 200 Melee: 100/140, Qui-Gon Jin was very powerful with the force but was an average duelest.

For the Telekinesis issue where 200 damage from a Star Card might be game breaking for Hero units, they have done abilities before where the base damage of the ability is decreased on heroes (the Star Card boost would remain the same)

He should have an extremely high swing speed with low stamina, characterizing Ataru. Also the jedi meditation could be a charge based ability. When you use it he meditates like in the movie, and depending for how long you do it for, you get more damage reduction. It would make him extremely unique.

6:10 If I may say, even with a 50% damage reduction (at max) getting shot by an entire team or triple / quadruple teamed is gonna absolutely shred through that ability That's why Anakin has such a high damage reduction, to withstand such engagements Also last bit, I think Anakin is pretty balanced now, it just takes a good villain to take him down, so I think having similar stats wouldn't be too far fetched.

Qui Gon Jin and Savage Opress? I'd love to see Mace Windu and Pre Vizla appear although I feel the Light side needs more unique character concept styles. Emperor and Boba, the heroes have nobody like that.

For Pre Visla, his middle ability could be he pulls out the Dark Saber and can use it until the ability is pressed again. While wielding the Dark saber, he plays like a Jedi Hero and do to him what they did for Grevious: can block lightsabers effectively but blocking blasters will massively deplete stamina since he's not a force user and can't properly deflect blaster fire.

Because he was taught by count doku he's fast and he's a strong fighter Lb: force rush when activated his dash is extended or when pressed he dashes like in the movie and at the end of the dash his fighting style gets a speed boost and gets a stamina boost Rb: force form This would use his strength to stagger the enemy with a back hand blow to the head causing flash's on the enemy's screen and disables any attack for a bit . This could be used three times like a dash Lb/Rb: force patient's he kneels down with great focus, he regains health while kneeling and if a enemy steps In his area he can lock on and lung at them with a damage boost

They always talk about how mace windu can’t stand out with other Jedi. Just make him lightsaber focused. Of course give him maybe a force ability. Idk maybe push or something. But his other abilities should effect lightsaber play. Maybe a rush and a ability that makes it impossible to dodge his attacks and if you’re a lightsaber hero he drains your stamina faster. He should also have a 4th ability where if he’s hit enough he loses his lightsaber and turns to unarmed combat. While the ability is active he moves extremely fast and attacks extremely fast.

L1; Meditate: Qui-Gon meditates to regenerate HP and gain damage reduction (you can meditate for 0,5 second up to 2 seconds, allowing you to regenerate a total of 50 HP and gain 10% damage reduction for the next 10 seconds, if you meditate for only a second, you only regen 25 HP and gain 5% damage reduction, HP regen can only be used after getting 2 kills or dealing 200 damage to villains) 2. L1+R1; Cunning mind trick: Qui-Gon completely stops regeneration of enemy HP, abilities and stamina for 3 seconds 3. R1; Force speed: Qui-Gon can use force speed, damaging enemies in his way (150 damage, 50% damage through blocks) Star cards: Increase HP (775, 800, 825, 850) Add an extra dodge at the cost of increased stamina drain (25%, 20%, 15%, 10%) Force speed deals more damage (170, 180, 190, 200) Cunning mind trick disables enemy jumps, but it’s active time is reduced (40%, 30%, 20%, 10%) With every 200 damage to villains or 2 kills, ability cooldowns are increased by 2% up to a maximum (20%,25%, 35%, 40%) Cunning mind trick affects enemies for a longer period of time (10%, 20%, 30%, 40%) (total of 5 seconds, 4,5 seconds without enemy able to jump, would be nasty in HvV) Damage reduction while meditating (making it easier to use it for the full 2 seconds) (15%, 30%, 40%, 50%) (does not stack with damage reduction after meditating) Increased damage reduction after meditating (+2,5% +5%, +7,5%, +10%) Force speed gives damage reduction, making you less vulnerable when trying to clear rooms with it (20%, 30%, 40%, 50%)
