Novikov's squats demonstrated not only physical strength but also mental toughness and fight. He was very unbalanced the first two reps nearly spilled on 6 but still dragged himself to reach 10 reps. What a monster!

Jf caron did the Arnold classic earlier that year Eddie. Love the no time limit for the squats now, it allows people to take their time and people can get more reps as well. The new wider pads to catch the weigh is a lot more safe, that event needed an overhaul and it looks a lot better for the athletes.
