It wouldn’t surprise me if the height/weight stats are a bit ‘loose’ throughout WSM. I don’t think they measure weight or height officially, just put what the athletes say. Therefore, as it’s entertainment as well as sport, there would be motivation to slightly exaggerate. Like Oberst has claimed to be 6ft8 in the past, but standing next to Kieliszkowski (6ft5) they are the same height.

His pretty good ways off. Struggling with 420lb for 7ish reps. Spoto maxed at 705-722lb while doing 600 for 6 reps and 500lb for 17. If he got 15 or 20 reps I'd find the 700lb more believable. I'd give him a good 625lb right now.
@NoDoubtsss
@NoDoubtsss 4 жыл бұрын
He's lucky to get 585 at the moment. Don't be mistaken by the 5 plates for 5. It's an elephant bar with alot of whip and he kind of abuses this whip to get more reps. Look at how he gives the bar a small push always to get a whip before he does the rep. The weight bouncing up from this effect creates a lever for faster reps. I'm not saying he's not strong in anyway, but with a stiff bar without whip and a short pause it's gonna be a hell of a lot harder to get these numbers.

In an old black and white French video when Andre was younger and thinner, it said he was 7’1. With his continuous growth hormone I speculate he may have gotten to 7’2 max. I don’t believe he was ever 7’4, even Vince alludes to that in the documentary. Either way he was fookin big and fookin strong.
