Paul McCartney's Rules For His Staff Are Beyond Weird
The legendary Paul McCartney is among the biggest names in all of music. He has spent over six illustrious decades bringing boundless joy to millions with his infectiously cheery, vibrantly upbeat love songs.
But if you get him a leather boot or serve his crew steak you're basically asking for trouble!
In today’s video we will take a closer look at Paul McCartney's Rules For His Staff and find out if they're indeed, "beyond weird."

I worked refurbishing his company offices in Soho Square around 1975. He came around on Christmas eve and spoke to anyone who wanted to speak to him. After he left we were called to the basement, there was a table stacked full of beers and our foreman said " Merry Christmas lads, courtesy of Mr McCartney"

My "Paul Moment" was in 2007 when I gave Sir Paul 'Thumbs Up' as I stood on the corner of Sunset Boulevard. It was so-awesome.

I didn’t read them yet but he is brilliant. Fans can be truly insane & sometimes very dangerous. Even if he can’t sing or play he will be an excellent writer if he so chooses. Or just live at the Isle of Wight. Can’t help but love him.

I once camped out for Paul McCartney tickets in the rain too. Then the ticketron broke so we had to stand there for eight more hours after already being in line for many hours. It was a great show and a good memory since I went with my sister who is now gone. Only concert I ever camped for tickets to.

It's really very simple...We aren't him. Try to understand the pressure that man is under. Most top-tier Rock stars live relatively short lives and one reason is the pressure is immense in ways the media doesn't allude to.

Too bad about Phil Collins. Probably not too well known but Phil Collins was actually an extra as a teenager in the Beatles movie A Hard Day's Night. He was a huge Beatles fan so I'm sure Paul's comment to him later on in life was a bit deflating.

Paul's demands regarding music are natural to me - because they concern the work for which he pays. Although from what I read he doesn't pay that much, unfortunately, considering his requirements (see as example Denny Laine's case). But his controlling „who should eat what” or „what shoes the staff should(n't) wear” is already treating the staff like some kind of serfs (actually even like dogs) and I can only be surprised that so many of you write: „oh, I would agree to anything just to work for Paul McCartney”. Well, many of you, guys, seem to have a huge inferiority complex and a complete lack of self-respect.

Unbelievable that Paul would be so crass towards Phil Collins. Phil has more talent in his little finger than Paul McCartney has in his whole body (just listen to Phil’s drumming on Brand X records, not to mention his songwriting). And I wouldn’t be surprised if Phil Collins has sold more records than McCartney, a legend in his own mind.

Had the Beatles come along a year later in the “British Invasion”, their success would have been mediocre. Of all the Beatle songs, few are really good Those that are, were early works. Those were different from the usual, and being sung by a novel group. That was the secret to their quick rise to fame, enabling them to remain on top as some kind of music gods, while soon thereafter putting out albums that were truly crap for the most part.
