That was a pretty combat heavy session. They're going through the greatest hits of underwater combat. Also yay new friend in Zappa!!!

Do people forget that Javelin's are MELEE weapons with the thrown property?
@davidspring40032 жыл бұрын
...which means they're bigger and easier to catch than most actual ranged weapons, what's your point?
@asheronwindspear5522 жыл бұрын
@@davidspring4003 you don't HAVE to throw them and can hit things in melee range without disadvantage.

@@asheronwindspear552 I thought you were complaining about them being deflected with Deflect Missiles

Try throwing a net that’s actually big enough to restrain a person and you will quickly realize why that’s a strength based weapon.

I miss when Bosco talked more

I haven't looked it up but he seems angry the last few weeks. Im hoping it gets better in future episodes

@weseywilliams6193 in a previous episode , I think 155, during the break bosco says he isn't talking as much so the main characters get more interactions and stuff and that's it

Welcome to Pi's Nit-Picks where for personal reasons I go through new episodes of The Unexpectables and nit-pick it of any instance where how they play and RAW don't line up in a cinemasins-esque manner. Spoiler alert: because of how this works, I might have to go into spoiler territory but I'll try to be subtle about it. Disclaimer: I am not telling anyone how to play dungeons & dragons. It's their game, not mine. These are not criticisms, these are nit-picks. Yes I have heard of house rules, thanks for asking. Nit-Picks: 0:32:32 :Seika should’ve had disadvantage on all of his unarmed strikes as they aren’t one of the weapons that can be used underwater without disadvantage. 0:35:00 : You cannot make an “offhand attack” as a bonus action without first taking the attack action. Nor can you make an “offhand attack” with a dart in the first place as it lacks the light property. 0:37:16 : Escaping a Grapple. A grappled creature can use its action to escape. To do so, it must succeed on a Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check contested by [the grappler’s] Strength (Athletics) check. 0:52:38 : Attacks with a longsword are at disadvantage while underwater. 0:54:11 : Task’s archery fighting style would’ve applied to these attack rolls. 0:58:53 : When attacking with a spear with both hands (which I assume Borky is doing) it deals 1d8 piercing damage as it has the versatile trait. 1:07:43 : While polymorphed, the target uses all of the beast’s game statistics, so panic would be using the octopus's constitution modifier. 1:16:40 : While submerged in water, all creatures have resistance to fire damage. 1:43:40 : Greckles would’ve had disadvantage on his attack roll as he is restrained. 2:01:25 : Hi Bosco 2:28:50 : Remy wouldn’t have been able to use his bardic inspiration here as it’s been more than 10 minutes since it was given to him. We know it’s been longer than 10 minutes because Panic had cast Detect magic as a ritual at 2:18:49 2:35:30 : Colossus slayer is not a magical effect. 3:00:15 : The Colossus slayer damage die would’ve been doubled on the critical hit. Also, Panic is best octodad.
