Vivo NEX 3 Complete Walkthrough: Zero Bezel 64MP Monster

Previous Galaxy S7 Edge and Huawei Mate 10 Pro owner here. But dudes, this phone charges SO FAST, its insane. I'm SO happy with the Nex 3, mostly because of the SOFTWARE. The devs really put A LOT of thought and care into it, the number of customizations you can do with cool lights and shit is amazing. Most customizable AOD and stuff on the market by far. Really great amount of fun content in this phone. And the haptic engine is SO flippin good in this phone, it syncs with your ringtones or alarm tones.. So for example my wake-up morning alarm, has beats in the haptic engine that matches the sounds, it seriously feels like if someone is tapping on the matress beside me when i wake up, even if i dont actually hear the sound of the alarm i FEEL the gentle tapping on the matress, as if my cat was walking up to my head and laying down. Also you can enable the voice assistant to read out the weather, scheduled calendar events and stuff for you right after you snooze or close the alarm, so you can just chill in bed while being reminded what's up for today. And you can just double-tap the screen in AOD to wake it, and from your home screen you can also double-tap to lock the phone. You dont realize how convenient that is when you're in bed or the phone is on the table, with every other phone you have to awkwardly reach around to press the power button. It's small things like this that makes the phone an unbelievable experience. It seriously sometimes feels like the phone is "alive", or at the very least designed very intelligently and thoughtfully. And i forgot to mention something 99% of youtube reviewers didnt even notice or mention. The photo editing native app.. Dude, it has AI object and scene recognition. For all photos, even old photos not taken on this phone. That means you can single out individual people or objects to apply filters to, or to single out the background. With a single tap. It's amazing. BUT a bit heads up, BE SURE to uninstall the native *com.vivo.pem* package _(google how to use ABD Daemon, dont need root)._ That is Vivo's own energy saving software that will TURN OFF any and all software that runs no matter if you set it up everywhere in Android to "Run in the background". Because Vivo's battery management OVERRIDES androids native system and terminates almost all your apps when the phone goes idle. So music will stop playing, whatsapp will stop pushing notifications, and if you use stuff like google translate's floating translate ball, that will stop working once you lock the phone and unlock again. So this is a GREAT beast of a phone. But be SURE to uninstall com.vivo.pem so you arent facing self-terminating apps.

I hope the pixel gets more ram and a headphone jack with a system wide equilizer. I have a 3a and the equilizer only works with KZbin (sometimes) and Play Music©️. You can only get to it through Play Music©️ it's not even in the audio settings.

The bottom bezel of nex 3 is like 0.5mm thicker than top, it is so unnoticeable that i have to compare bottem to side then side to top bezel.

To be fair before that issue, most phones remove the headphone jack, and i think thats a greater concern. With music you can technically just stream it nowadays at acceptable quality, and some services are even CD quality streaming like Tidal, and many phones come stock with a fair amount of memory up to a TB of memory now even.

Guys this is the Chinese version of the phone that’s why it doesn’t have google services, the international version does have the google services... I mean it does have the snapdragon 855+ which is from Qualcomm an American company and it uses many parts from American companies... Vivo isn’t affected by the ban yet.. it’s only Huawei for now

uhh no. NFC doesn't work and there will be error messages coming up after a few days, also NO streaming services. Good luck with future firmware updates to google maps gmail etc. Sorry but i love huawei but I can no longer support it. Thanks trump!!

A pop up camera is not the solution to having a zero bezel. Just like the fingerprint sensor which lies seamlessly along with the bezel in current phones, the proper solution would be that even though it's not there currently. Anybody can make a pop-up camera.
