Theuns Jordaan - Huldigingsdiens

Emosionele seremonie om Theuns Jordaan te groet
Die afsterwe van ons geliefde musiekheld, Theuns Jordaan, het Afrikaanse mense in rou gedompel en eerskomende Vrydag, 26 November om 11:00, sal daar tydens ’n intieme seremonie hulde aan Theuns gebring word. Dié geleentheid sal deur Theuns se Pa, Willie Jordaan, en verskeie van Theuns se musiekvriende bygewoon word.
As gevolg van huidige Covid-19-beperkings op begrafnisse word slegs 100 gaste toegelaat, maar elke ondersteuner van Theuns sal wel kan deel wees van die verrigtinge deur op Afrikaans is Groot se KZbin-kanaal en Theuns se Facebook-blad in te skakel. Die diens sal regstreeks vanaf die Moreletapark Gemeente in Pretoria uitgesaai word. Ds. Pieter Badenhorst sal die diens waarneem.
Van Theuns se naaste musiekvriende in die bedryf soos Bok van Blerk, Ricus Nel en Dozi sal ook die geleentheid bywoon en huldeblyke sowel as sangitems lewer. Kisdraers sluit ondermeer Kurt Darren, Steve Hofmeyr en Bobby van Jaarsveld in.
Kunstenaars soos David Kramer, Anton Goosen en Valiant Swart sal nie die geleentheid kan bywoon nie, maar videoboodskappe van dié kunstenaars wat na aan Theuns gedurende sy loopbaan was, sal gespeel word.
Terwyl Theuns se pa die geleentheid sal bywoon om bedankings namens die familie te doen, sal sy Ma, Maryna, ongelukkig nie kan reis om by die diens te kan wees nie. Sy is in ’n versorgingseenheid in Bethulie en Theuns se enigste suster, Linda, sal by haar ma wees vir onderskraging.
Streng veiligheidsmaatreëls sal in plek wees om te verseker dat alles stiptelik sal geskied.

I Dr Gobin Persaud PhD and my wife we are both 94 & 91 years old and Canadians who enjoyed his shows along with Juanita DuPlesis singing and performing and this evening whilst we were watching the shows we casually saw something like his funeral on KZbin and we froze with shock. It is very cold here but we froze from this death. God created our destiny before we are born and to the deceased he now sits on the right hand of God almighty and we will continue to pray for his soul to be in peace in God’s presence Amen. I only discovered this amazingly talented man on KZbin 2 months ago, what a wonderful find. He was more than talented ! He had a rich clear voice and covered all types of music which can be said of someone who truly had flexible talent. Sure wish he could have made it, but I can tell you this Rev 21:3,4 tells us what the grand creator has in store for all that have fallen asleep in death, such as my beautiful daughter and granddaughter. Thankyou for posting this service,it was wonderful.. it seems like when ever i come across an entertainer i truely enjoy. They have some problem with health, accident , death or some unforseen problem that takes them from us.
