At the end of the Second World War, the hunt was on to find those guards who worked inside of the concentration camps. One of the most wanted Nazi war criminals was Rudolf Höss, the Commandant of Auschwitz which became the deadliest site of extermination during WWII. Höss was eventually found hiding as a gardener inside of Gottrüpel, but the British forces that were arresting him brutalised him and almost killed him. But what happened with his arrest?

I visited Auschwitz and Birkenau in 2023. This devil, Hoss, even had his 'villa' (where his wife and children resided), on the grounds of the camp! Their second floor bedroom windows had a view of the gallows. Perfectly played by h8s captors and executioners, Hoss was hung with the same view his family would have had. Visiting this place has changed me forever... 😢 May we never see these horrors again. 🕊

I remember Demjanjuk in the 80s. US actually deported him to Israel to stand trail for war crimes against jews. Soviets had evidence he was not the man Israel and US thought he was. But the Soviets waited... I remember watching witness after witness, 5 total, seething with anger and hate, fingers pointing at Demjanjuk, claiming beyond any doubt whatsoever he was the person who committed the crimes. After the expected guilty verdict and sentence of death was pronounced, the Soviets then released the information they had which proved Demjanjuk was not the person in question.

When I visited Auschwitz, I found the gallows, on which Hoess was hanged (and is still there) was one of the most impactful reminders of what he and the SS did there. It’s next to the crematoria. We should never forget the unspeakable inhumanity perpetrated by the Nazis.

Seeing the photos of the innocent victims, I felt so sad for all of them and seeing the ones who would not have made good slaves knowing they would've had death to come soon is heartbreaking and to see the man with a crutch knowing he wouldn't have made it out of there either is heartbreaking, I've watched a lot of Autshwitz videos and saw all the crutches and disabilities items in a pile.. this was a truly evil time and I hope all the innocent victims are now at peace, god bless them. I have seen very good motion pictures of hoss arriving at the army base after his capture. In fact the still pictures of him standing behind the army truck that delivered him, are taken from the movie. In the film it shows him exiting the truck and then boarding a plane. I have seen it 3 or 4 times, but a search for it yields nothing. There is also a picture of Hoss with Martin bormann when they were in their early 20s that I see once and a while but it can't be found with a search.

They tortured him, beat him, crushed his testes, kept him drunk and doped, threatened to send his children in Siberia, cut his pension to his wife to starve her and the kids, anything they could do to destroy him they did, all before the trials even began. They ended up making him sign more than 20 different confessions, some in English, a language he did not speak nor understand. When I read about who he was, and everything they did to him, I became convinced that he was not the monster I believed he was, he just couldn't be and later, he admitted he would have signed anything for it to stop. The people who made these insane accusations against him, are the same who said 40 babies had been beheaded, shoot humanitarian workers, and people waiting in life for a few scraps of food for their families. From now on, I refuse to consider any claims until I actually see with my own eyes undeniable documented evidence. I'm done trusting anyone, I will not be lied to anymore. That guy Hoess, even his interrogators couldn't believe that such a quiet man could be a monstrous killer, they said so after they killed him... and then they found another Nazi monster, killed him, and another one, one more, even some who had committed no crime at all, pencil pushers as they say, but they didn't care, they had no time for such useless considerations... His last confession included the admission of atrocities, even after he backed off of the original claim of 2.5 million murders to 1 million. Why would they let him adjust down his confession of numbers murdered if his admission was all made up? Wouldn't it be better to stick with the 3 million number, or inflate it? As for Gaza, tell Hamas to give up fighting from behind civilians, and hostilities can cease... or at least subside.

@@j_scee6819 Because they eventually found out that the 4 million came from some unknown Soviets and that it was so far from the truth, it would easily be proven wrong in court. And tell the illegal settlers to get out of the West Bank, they now occupy 56% of it. That would stop the fight. Biden offered to mediate the peace today, the Arabs said let's look, Netanyahu said no way. And tell the US to stop giving billions and weapons every year, that makes them accessories to genocide, punishable by death apparently.

I will definitely look further into Hoss and his capture. I started a firestorm by suggesting that if he asked Jesus for forgiveness he could be in heaven . I guess not many liked my comments but I didn't mean to offend anyone only suggested a possibility of him being in heaven. God bless you.

Absolutely not I'm not saying that Hoss didn't murder millions innocent people. I only brought up the remote possibility of him being in heaven if he sincerely asked for Jesus to forgive him. There were many Nazis that should been brought to justice but got away. People that were just as horrible or more so.God bless you.
