So I actually LOVE this video. I got married last year, but I am currently planning my “wedding”. My husband and I are military so we are far away from family and didn’t see our families coming together at a decent time for us to finally get married. But now I get to have the big celebration with family next year at one of my dream locations!! Another thing I love is when I start to have a bridezilla moment my husband looks at me and says “don’t forget, we are already married. So this doesn’t have to happen exactly as planned because it won’t change anything”

What did u end up doing? My fiance is 100% concerned about what his mom (a wedding in a church) and brother wants to eat at the wedding .....feels like an arranged marriage

@@SanAntonioRealEstateAgent Eating at a wedding is normal we went to the courthouse then went to a resteraunt later on that day. Then eventually through a do it ourselves type of wedding

Bold choice! Very cool. I think I’ve always entertained the idea of eloping because something is so romantic about it, but I know it would break my mom’s heart. Very awesome you got to do your dream! You are beautiful.

You can elop and still make your mom happy! My cousin eloped his wife and did the ceremony in private but then he had a huge party afterwards with everyone which was like a wedding party and they wore their bridal clothes

Same… I know she would be so sad to know she wasn’t a part of the tradition of “giving your daughter away” and the events surrounding that. I’m still figuring out how to navigate that one 😅 I hope it all worked/works well for you.

My fiance and I are tired of the stress of the wedding. We are thinking about just meeting our Pastor somewhere nice and just getting married. We hope that we can get our money back from the venue.
