The truth about defending Men with records of all Races especially the Black Race is the taking advantage that comes with this defense. If we defend our Men and ask them to be straight with us. That becomes the most difficult task at hand for them. The Police will see how we are being used and come after us for always getting them out of trouble. If Men know that they are always going to have Someone to get them out of trouble. The Men are more inclined to be nonchalant about being responsible. The same for this Administration today March 18, 2022. This Administration feels like they are supported Democrats and Republicans so they are comfortable going after People and illegally having us wait in a justice system they appointed. Therefore, they are the ones not moving us forward because they have appointed these Supreme Court Justices. We are far from stupid. The issue I have with defending Men is behind your back they will cross you like you never did anything but wrong to them. They will play both sides to discredit you if they get caught red handedly doing wrong. The Police is their twins. If you speak to the Police. They will behave as if you are working for them and telling on People. It is very difficult to trust any of them. Most of them have their own agendas. Most often that agenda is self absorbed. That is what the biggest problem is in America with helping People. These are the twins of our history that set good People back all the time. These People expect us to keep fighting for them while they keep disrespecting us like we are weak. I cannot respect these types. I am going to fight for Myself because I have self control. I know how to do right. I know how to mind my business and manage my own money without getting into unnecessary trouble. The troublemakers are transparent. They will not take my kindness for weakness or my life with their immature games. This dysfunctional and reckless game should be called. "Grow the hell up!" How many People have to keep dying for childish People. How about that.

I truly believe that this message needs to get out, like world wide. Thank God for the ones who have morals, principles and integrity. To hell with the ones who dont!. Karma will get you all in the end. The reason so many blacks are in jail is an issue of power and economics. They know you dont have money to throw at a lawyer or to fight these cases. If we did, they wont be exhibiting the behaviors they do towards us. We all are getting an education here. I've listened to this speech at 25 times. One of the most awakening speeches I've ever heard. I made my son listen to it and challenged him to have his peers listen. I know some have.

Her book is amazing. Just finished it. Institutionalized racism in the prison industrial complex is a major problem and it's about fucking time it's getting some mainstream traction. Mostly, thanks to MIchelle Alexander.

Nice, enlightening speech. The professor not only mentions the problems, but also recommends solutions to the problems. And lovely to look at, too. Thank you for posting.

A much needed message that seriously challenges people who've grown comfortable sitting on the sidelines. This wasn't a "great speech "....it was a snapshot of where we are at and what we're really surrounded by. Look at the picture carefully.

Thank you for speaking out. The veil must be lifted in order for everyone to make this nation great. We need everyone. Imagine if all people began to work together. Hate would have no home. I was born down South and have seen the destruction first hand. Love will conquer all.

Amazing speech. Together we shall over come. The fight will never end for equality for all. Even people in the prison system. I am interested in donating my old college books for people in the prison systems. I have heard that some programs for a higher education have been cut. With knowledge comes truth.

@@erikstone2321 why do you and people that make similar comments act like only rapists and murders are in prison?
@erikstone2321 Жыл бұрын
@April T ugh why do people like you make comments like that?! Most of the other ones won’t be there long enough to get a college education. If they get 6 years liberal DA’s release them after 2 years. Especially if they’re black. That’s how the system works. And then these same liberals do nothing to help them so they often reoffend and become leeches on society. But you’re “racist” if you say anything about it and criticize this clearly failing industry.

The cell block nowadays is the new auction block. How much prison labor do we have now working for pennies a day if that?! Bloomberg used prisoners for his campaign call center. The sanitation workers in New Orleans ***replaced by prison labor*** because the workers wanted GOOD LABOR CONDITIONS FOR THEMSELVES. How much?

@cobainzlady Thanks BUT PRISONERS NEED TO BE FREED, GET RID OF THE BS DRUG WAR, GET RID OF THE BIDEN FAMILY **SOMEHOW** WHO WROTE THE CRIME/PRISON BILL, etc. THEN CAPITALISM GOES AND SOCIALISM defined simply as workers owning/running the businesses they work in COMES IN and I WOULD SAY THE PRISON POP BY THEN WOULD BE
