It’s not the main Navy base it’s one of many Navy bases throughout the U.K. that base was the port for the Nuclear Trident submarines. Obviously they carry nuclear weapons or rockets which is why the security is so tight round there. Great video, love Scotland. It amazes me how many people who live in the England, Wales etc and yet they’ve never been to Scotland. Can’t beat it for a peaceful break. If you want real Scotland you gotta get up past Glencoe and into the Highlands.👍

It's brilliant watching this as a somewhat "local" I started filming a video at the banks of loch lomond recently and never thought much of it! Great video this. We are truly spoiled up here with the scenery, only gets better the further north you go. 🙂

You should fit CB radios in your motorhomes to stay in touch for free while driving. CB radio costs £120 tops with an aerial.

The west coast is just stunning. A nice loop upto Fort William along the A82 (best road ive ever driven, especially if you include the road through Glen Etive to Loch Etive) and then along the A828 to Oban. Simply amazing scenery!!

Scotland is beautiful but the flying teeth are a bit hard to deal with. Lovely country though Fort William upwards is awsome. Just actually from glen co upwards really on the west side. The east side is slightly flatter and less picturesque. But you cant beat an arbroath smokey.
