It was clear they were relieved to see one another, and Donald looked much much much happier. One of our foster dogs was very much this same story! At only a year and a half old, she had already been bred 3 times and her so-called "owners" decided the puppies of her third litter were "not cute enough" and tried to dump all ten puppies at the shelter without their mama at 2 weeks old. She didn't even have a name; when the shelter asked what her name was, the "owners" told them a Spanish curse word. The original agreement was for the people who owned her to come back and get her once she was spayed, but when the shelter called, the "owners" said "What use is she to us now that she's been spayed? She's useless!" My sister and I named her Amara, and she was one of our favorite fosters! Now she lives a happy life in Washington State with her new family!

UNCLE BEN I HAVE PIG ADVICE: I show pigs in 4-h and have even bred my own. you are extremely lucky the pig gave birth without any complications, but in regards of keeping the piglets alive make sure they are away from all other animals and are with their mother at all times. Also there is a chance the mother will not let the piglets nurse if this happens you MUST bottle feed all piglets about every 2 hours. P.S. when using whips with pigs keep there heads up by tapping under the chin this keeps them from being distracted and when walking the pig hit the pig behind it’s front legs also steer the pig by hitting it on the sides of the head you do not have to hit them hard if they are trained well. (Finished watching the piglets look very healthy still keep an eye on them however piglets are prone to all kinds of disease and other problems)
