Theus Mago last took listeners on a nocturnal ride with his Terremoto Valley Express, and now the Mexican producer is back-this time teaming up with close friend and regular studio partner Dominik Marz for their new Bajo Bajo EP. Having already made waves with releases on Duskys 17 Steps and Theus own Duro label, the duo maintain their pace by cooking up some Instant Dog. A track packed with bounding toms, a hypnotic melody, fierce 909s, and a relentless build that makes it impossible to ignore. More acid licks on the flip with the title track, Bajo Bajo. The originals bubbling rhythm gives way to the heads-down energy of Ketiovs remix, as he ditches the disco for a piano-pierced thumping house groove.
