So powerful! "As a Muslim, my dignity is part and parcel of the dignity of my Ummah. If Muslims are being butchered in Bosnia, that is on me. If Muslims are being persecuted in India, that is on me. If Muslims are in concentration camps in China, that is on me. If Muslims are filling prisons in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and elsewhere, that is on me. And because it is on me, part of standing for my dignity and my self-respect is that I fight for their rights." I actually love the athaan for this. Usually I find the athaan to be boring nasally and just a nuisance but the girl who gave the athaan at the beginning woke me up. I love it. Can you pls have her give the athaan more often ? Thank you so much

paraphrasing from the khutbah…those who earn their fat paychecks at the expense of other human beings, they’re taking way more than their fair share while neglecting the rights of the suffering. HIGHLIGHTS Bismillah al-Rahman al-Raheem [Sermon commences @9:32] 11:00 anticipating the transition into higher education (HE) after the summer break. 15:10 the importance of values. 16:30 the personal experience of the Professor related... 21:12 ...the lost souls. 23:50 resistance to unbecoming behaviour. 25:50 the experience of the UCLA Student Conduct Committee. 28:08 unexpected ethical breaches... 30:35 ...the correlation with the company kept... 31:30 ...the unreliability of those same 'friends' and acquaintances. 34:00 the moral paradigm established in chapter Luqman, #31, Ayah #13: "...la tush'rik bil-lah inn ash-shir'ka lathul'mun atheem" (..."O my son, do not associate anything with God, for idolatry is a terrible wrong"). 36:55 Ayah #17: "ya-bunayy aqim is-salata..." I am a regular follower of Usuli institute and really learn a great deal from your Khutbas. Sheikh, I would really like for you to educate us about the Palestinian Authority and Hamas; are they part of the solution or part of the problem. The Palestinians have suffered incredibly without a doubt due to the brutal occupation and I traveled to Israel and Palestine (except Gaza) in 2011. Have the Palestinian leaders betrayed their own people?
