Correction: The Chenab River is the largest tributary of the river Indus. It has a total length of about 605 miles (974 km), and it also feeds irrigation canals. The Chenab empties into the River Sutlej.

Thanku sir😊 Correction - Alaknanda from Badrinath and Mandakini from Kedarnath meet at Rudraprayag(known as Alaknanda afterwards). Whereas "Bhagirathi" from Gangotri glacier later meets Alaknanda at Devprayag known as Ganga.

Valmeeki Ramayan says that Lord Shiva released River Ganga by drops forming the Bindu Saras. Bindu Saras is supposed to be north of Mt. Kailash. Ramayan also says that altogether seven rivers form from the drops of Ganga that forms in Bindu Saras, or Manasarovar. Three flows east, three to the West and Bhageerathi (the seventh one) followed Bhageerath. However, when we talk about river Ganga, no one mentions the name of Kailash. Why? Did Bhageerathi originate from Mt. Kailash or from Gangotri?

Origin of mandakini river is in kedanath. and source of river is chorabadi glaciar and the trek length is about 4.5 km away from Kedarnath temple. Madakini river after reaching at Sonprayag it meet with another river and again it meet with alaknada river in Rudraprayag . This point is know as the Sangam when two river meet at same point of alaknanda and madakini when it forward from rudraprayag as the name of alaknanda river,then it meet with bhagirathi river in Devprayag known as ganga (the holy river of india )
