Glad you could save the greenhouse. We lost our 24x40 hightunnel to a snow storm a few weeks ago. We are tearing down what's left so we can rebuild with a wooden/steel structure.

Anyone who has never had a commercial size greenhouse full of plants can't fully comprehend how scary it is when the plastic starts to go on one of your greenhouses. I've been there and done that. Glad you guys were able to save it before it did major damage. That is one thing I do not miss about being out of the greenhouse business. I no longer have to worry about my livelihood coming from plastic buildings when a storm blows through!

It sounded like the scene from Wizard of Oz where the house got picked up and thrown into the sky. I love it when you walk into the chicken pen and the chickens don't even budge, I love how the chickens love you. Callie is really growing, her ponytail is so sweet. Missed seeing the babies, they grow so fast. Lauren really has recovered quickly, she looks terrific. Good to see her eating so healthy 😊

In order to meet the requirements for a derecho; the storm must be >240+miles and winds in excess of 55+mph. They differ from tornadoes in that the winds are not circular. When I saw the petunias you planted last year in the hanging baskets (the purple kind of spotted ones) I went online and bought some and they were incredible!!! That storm passed through Mid Missouri here with terrible winds, 2.5 inches of rain and hail so deep the snow plow had to clear off a road way and bridge. Lots of damage to homes and cars. It was scary and intense. Happy you were able to save the greenhouse and contents with so many helping hands
