I believe the most useful app that they can put on this mount-on device is the translator. Imagine you wearing this glass and you could manually put it in on sound record and have google translate and turn into text and display it on the screen, if it can turn into sound, it could be way more convenience. I mean you can understand the language other people trying to say while traveling to different country, tour, work, or meetings. Not only that while having this app, it allow you to learn the language easier because you are receiving hand-on experience face to face.

Don't forget that you have to look at the little screen on the side of your eye [won't be right in front] which I think it will be a little distractive [or uncomfortable to be looking at for longer duration] while doing something like running on the treadmill.

They are $1,499 for the Explorer Edition, which was a 1 time thing, the public version is said to be anywhere from $300 to $500 (which i think is still alot)

I understand most of these new ideas seem a bit much and I know where you are coming from with the 'smart toothbrush' and 'smart plate' idea, but people need these types of things. I've seen numerous people my age, about 18~20, about 6~12 inches from a smartphone. I hate cutting off conversations just to look at my phone and I welcome these 'smart' devices to enable people to focus on things more important in life, like friends and family. I can see my myself getting Glass when it's released.
