to anyone wondering why they don’t have nvidia noise removal in their noise suppression options. Search Nvidia broadcast download center on any search engine and install the appropriate Audio driver for your graphics card. Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for your informative and engaging content. I’ve found your videos extremely helpful, especially when it comes to demystifying the complexities of OBS. I have a small suggestion that I believe could enhance the learning experience for your viewers, including myself. During the sections where you go through configuration settings, would it be possible to slow down the pace a bit? This would really help in ensuring we can follow along more effectively and implement the settings as you describe them. I understand that covering content thoroughly can be challenging within a limited time, but even a slight reduction in pace could make a significant difference. This adjustment would not only aid in better understanding but also allow viewers to appreciate the nuances of what you're teaching. Thanks again for your dedication to sharing your knowledge and expertise. Looking forward to your upcoming content!

@The Video Nerd, I am having a slightly different issue to what you described in this video. So a little background, I wanted to set up an audio source in OBS to record audio directly from my headphones for 2 purposes: 1) recording single player gameplay with live commentary so I didnt have to worry about my mic picking up game sounds from my tv's audio set up (subwoofer and a couple of speakers that are about 3 ft in front of where i'm sitting) and 2) for recording multiplayer gameplay where all I really need is to capture what my friends are saying in a Discord voice channel. I ran a test on this thinking that if i am capturing a Desktop Audio source, that that would give me my game sounds, and then if I also captured the Headset Audio source at the same time, then I'd have a near identical track of gameplay audio + any voice communications captured in discord. The idea being that if both tracks were more or less identical, I could mute or delete one track in the editing software and enhance what i needed to in the headphones track to make speech sound good without sacrificing the sounds of the gameplay. When I ran a test on this both with and without the invert polarity filter, i ran into a major problem: OBS isnt capturing the gameplay audio through my headphones. This is with the desktop audio capture source active. it comes out at a very low volume, extremely choppy and in short, there is nothing i can do to clean that track up in post. its just too far gone. if i record with the invert polarity filter active, i get absolutely nothing. not even the choppiness i got in the first test. What do I do about this? I tried using the Discord Streamkit widget for voice, and I dont like that because i don't get a visual decibel bar in OBS to confirm that it is working. I tried installing Voicemeeter Banana to do it that way for discord voice audio capture and that just wrecked my pc's audio settings and it took me three days to figure out where the problem was to fix it and get my headset working again. The application capture beta source in OBS doesnt work either because it won't give me an option to select a voice channel for it to capture from. I'm at a bit of a loss here. what am i doing wrong and how do i fix it? I really kind of have a need for content creation to have this kind of a setup, but as it currently exists, its kind of letting me down pretty badly, and thats without mentioning the popping and crackling that shows up on the track when i send the file to my editing software that didnt exist in OBS when I set up my microphone and headphones and applied all the necessary filters to get a good baseline recording. Please help

very comprehensive. thanks. one key thing to stop my mechanical keyboard and mouse sounds from being picked up. Thank you for the video. I followed your steps and got a great improvement in my microphone sound, but there is one thing else I did that made a big difference. My microphone has a 3.5mm analog connector and a USB connector for power. I realized that the noise I heard in the background was coming from the computer itself. Even if I moved the microphone away from the computer, the noise was still there. It sounded like the computer fans running in the background, but it turned out that the problem was that the USB power from the computer was not clean. To fix this, I plugged the USB connector into a phone charger instead. Now the sound is perfectly clear. One thing to keep in mind is that the microphone could get overheated if your phone charger is not compatible. In my case this didn't happen at all. But it could be the case that because phone chargers vary in terms of the amount of power they supply and the quality of their voltage regulation. If you use a phone charger that is not designed to power a microphone, it could cause the microphone to overheat and damage the internal components. To avoid this risk, it is important to use a phone charger that is compatible with your microphone.

Thank you, the correct explanation of the expander and compressor helped a lot. Using Nvidia sound reduction and these filters the Solocast is a winner.

Dude, this made such a HUGE difference compared to the default settings! Thanks a bunch. Also, if I'm recording from a switch console and a microphone, do both have to be on track 1? I can't seem to separate the tracks without losing sound on one or the other.

Finally, a video that helped me with everything i needed! You're a Life saver man, thank you! Do we change any latency settings with putting the audio monitoring to monitor and video? I was doing the Discord test and it's an annoying echo lol

Wow this is amazing! My audio was pretty bad, echoes and fan noise, and some people commented on my videos about my noise. I had no idea about OBS, and was just running the Seiren V2 Pro, and it just sounded poor. I tried to run Nivida broadcast with the Raizen synapse software, and I am not sure it was even doing anything. The plan moving forward is to just capture the video and audio through OBS, and have a more professional sound and look. Thank you for the tutorial, I appreciate it!
