Lots of great advice! I feel like this is the kind of information that is really sparse in the motion design niche on youtube so thanks for making this video. Also, IMO, there is so much value in discussing the money side of things...so...I had about 2-3 months salary saved before going freelance (and also only 1 client) but they had me booked for two more animations, so that helped...🙃

Thank you! And thanks for sharing your story re: money side of things. Money in freelance and client management could be two separate videos on their own, hence briefly touching on them

Excellent video! Thanks for this 😁 I'll also use your idea of time sensitive tasks for my own students 😎 they'll hate it in the short term, but it'll be good for 'em!

Thank you! Do it, haha. I tell my students exactly the same thing. I wasn't sure they believed me so I made this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWTTZmeeoZh2h7s But yeah, working under pressure is a skill I don't see many other educators pushing, which is why I'm so hated by all my students

Concise, and beautifully presented... as was the information. :D You're probably aware already, but this video was featured in School of Motion's weekly newsletter which is how I came across it; and I'm super glad I did. Nice work!
