As a BIG fan (I have all her albums), her music in her heyday was mostly about women's equality and freedom, self assurance, anti racism and bigotry, then she got into a seemingly very conservative marriage and then divorce. Since then she wears more clothes than necessary for her concerts and tours, and that's ok (her choice and right) but maybe that's where the confusion and inconsistency is coming from. Let's be very clear it shouldn't all be falling on her but it should be falling on her to some degree because she's a journalist doing a profile on an individual who's having a relationship with that individual behind the scenes. That's a conflict of interest in literally every way. His part in this is between him and his wife her part in this has to do with the journalism of it all. And while I think a lot of people are coming after her for the wrong reasons her part in this does need to be examined on a different level because she's a journalist writing about this individual but has no objectivity and did not disclose that either to her job or to the public.
