And repeatedly, you have not yet addressed some key facts. 1) The non-MAGA working class who switched to vote for Trump in fact did not really know what they were voting for. They did not know what each candidate's policy proposals were. They did not really seem to know what each candidate/party's track record in terms of helping working class was. They really don't understand how economics works, because they were shocked learning how tariffs worked and maybe now they're shocked that Trump is not going to magically make prices come back down to pre-COVID prices. Because he freaking said it out loud to a reporter. They will certainly be shocked when they are stopped by the mass-deportation-regime just for having a certain complexion, regardless of who they voted for. You know who seemed to punch through the noise and the overwhelmingly majority knew the stakes, despite being more socially conservative? Black people. And then women of color. What indeed happened to the white women and the low-information male voters? So, maybe, View, you need to bring on real experts on what really contributed to how voters decided to vote or whether they would vote at all. Because this whole post-mortem doesn't seem like it's tethered to the deep understanding of WHY people made the decisions they made. 2) Please stop the lies that the democratic party abandoned the working class. Bernie Sanders worked closely with Biden to get those historic pieces of legislation passed and they surgically were written to help the middle/working class. The economic numbers are in: indeed, income increases went solely to the working/middle class. No significant increases went to the upper-class. So, please stop with spreading the lies. Instead, the truth is back to the first fact: non-MAGA working class people who switched to Trump lacked the facts about what the candidates were really proposing and how they each had helped the working class in the past. Bring in the misinformation/disinformation experts and help the public understanding what we can do to get the facts and truth to low-information voters. You ladies are beginning to understand that pigeon holing people doesn't work, and it's part of what got Trump elected both times. I grew up poor, very poor. I pulled myself out of poverty and severe abuse, had a successful law enforcement career in one of the highest accredited agencies in this country, and am now honorably retired. My cardiologist is a Spanish immigrant, and head of cardiology for a prominent medical group in Orlando FL. We are both "working class", but in very different ways, and we are both Trump supporters. Washington DC is a cesspool of corruption, which is why we're Trump supporters. His "convicted felon" status is a badge of honor in that political rot. And ALL elected positions should have term limits.

@kenspear4297 I've been looking into this a lot lately. In the 80s Ronald Reagan ended something in this country called The Fairness Act. It made it so radio and TV had to show both sides of each issue. They had to be unbiased and bipartisan. So we have the mess we have now.

To Alyssa’s point: i’m a liberal who has long been for restorative justice in our criminal justice system. The problem is that Donald Trump and his supporters seem to only care about restorative justice for him and them, whereas I care about all the black and brown men who have been abused in our criminal justice system. Again, we’re deluded if we think that Donald Trump is going to pass a series of restorative criminal justice measures and that he had a plan for that all along he doesn’t and he never did. The only person who he really cares about pardoning, is himself, no matter what he’s telling J6ers 🤷‍♂️.
