@bethanydee192010 ай бұрын
@kk-ym5tc I can't speak for anyone else but as a Christian who knows that scripture says "none but God are good" and "all have fallen short" yet it still gives us ways to grow from glory to glory and also gives instructions and even outlines characteristics and lists the fruits of the spirit in Galatians 5:22-23 all of which Trump violates every single time he speaks, it says it's by their fruits ye shall know them and in Luke 6:45 says "...out of the abundance of his heart his mouth speaks" I watch how candidates speak and compare it to scripture paying little to no attention to ANY newscast. The bible condemns pride for which sin Lucifer was cast out of heaven. It condemns a haughty spirit, mean and demeaning, filthy and corrupt speaking and says the power of death and life are actually in the tongue and those who,jndulge in it shall eat the fruit thereof which seems clear to me as to the number of Trumps indictments is what's happening to him now. So as a Christian who actually reads and tries to follow scripture I think the choice is pretty clear.

Right? God drowned babies, committed genocide, was misogynistic, and sacrificed himself to himself, and then came back a couple days later. How can someone believe this god is good?
@bethanydee192010 ай бұрын
@@lxlthr4058You seem like a person who's genuinely concerned with the welfare of humanity. That's good. This world needs as many as we can get. But I wonder if you think that people reading history a couple of mellenia from now will blame God for the atrocities you mention but which are happening around the world today. I suspect many will but you and I both know it's people who're responsible. Have you ever heard the phrase "What goes around comes around" aka "karma" ? Life actually works that way (many times in plain sight of all involved) & do you know who originated that principle which, by the way, turns out to be true even when we ignore it or disbelieve it? NASA says that long, long ago, when Earth was young, it is thought that something big hit Earth and knocked it off-kilter. So instead of rotating with its axis straight up and down, it leans over a bit. And science shows us that the axis still changes according to man's influences in everyday living but now only by minute amounts so that we don't notice it. I saw a documentary once that showed what the results on earth would've been when that "something big" hit earth changing the axis dramatically. It depicted the displacement of whole oceans moving out of their boundaries onto whole continents for a time and in the process causing constant rain. Christians believe that God set the laws of nature in place and gave mankind loving laws to live by. But God also gave us the freedom to make our own choices and all of us will either now or in the future reap what we sow thereby either working out our salvation or determining our destiny to be separated from him throughout eternity (and many who chose both horribly and righteously are given in the bible as EXAMPLES of what happens resulting from both good and bad behavior - but the bible itself says to choose righteously and talks about God's wrath toward those who're cruel even to children for instance). The point being that just choosing not to believe something doesn't make it untrue. Sometimes we just don't have all the facts. Maybe you'll think it's worth at least thinking about - maybe not. But one thing's certain: life is short and after that we'll be dead for an eternity. So please choose carefully because if it turns out that Christians are wrong to believe in a loving God (which I obviously don't believe is the case) then we lose nothing. But if atheists are wrong then that's something altogether different that I don't wish on anybody.

There are evangelicals speaking up on this. You can look up several documentaries that cover christian nationalism in the last 2 years. And there are a lot of pastors that speak just like this man does. There are especially black pastors speaking on this because this issue is a white nationalist issue. The very thing republicans accused Obama of doing with pastor wright and his "Black Nationalist Movement". In which he speaks up against this issue as well. Is crazy how republicans can use nationalism as a tool of fear to not vote democrat but when they are not getting their way they threaten us all with white nationalism.

So your vote will go to Biden who pays the Pope to let him receive Communion and supports baby killing and sniffs children and showers with his daughter sending her to therapy over the trauma? @@ravenr876 Trump is just as demonic as these women or more so! He promoted a video that labeled him the "Good Shepherd for MANKIND who will never leave you nor forsake you" (a quote from the video). A title only Jesus Christ can claim and he is the son of God! That is full on blasphemy! If Trump had the fear of God or love of God in his heart, he would be appalled and denounce such a video. Instead he used it in Iowa for his campaign (they showed a short clip of that video here @ 4:36 mins. If they had shown the whole video you would hear the "Good Shepherd" quote). The Antichrist is not going to be a secular atheist from modern culture. He will come from the religious community and set himself up as equal with God as if he were the Christ (the Christ-imposter). Why any Christian would follow a candidate promoting himself with a title of Christ, is also very much showing the end times apostasy of the church!

True Christianity isn’t “religion”. Religion is a manmade construct, and from the earliest days of the Church and the Apostles, religion was, and is, the bringer of corruption. Hence, “Narrow is the way and few shall find it.” Search for the truth and open your heart to it. I had some of the same damaging experiences you alluded to, but the eternal beauty of Christ lives above and beyond.
