If it was a stand-alone film, it would have been merely a copy of so many films that have existed before it. Goldberg had so little to really do in this one and her character became such a non-entity in it that you could have cast virtually anybody in the role.

I often fast forwarded it to “Joyful Joyful.” It was a truly religious experience for me every single time! I thank you all for each of your parts in this movie…be it writing, arranging, acting, singing, the money raising scenes, the fact that you truly DID love the Ice Capades, Whoopi as you wrote in your book, “Bits and Pieces” and I recall you having that talk with Lauren Hill about the Ice Capades in the movie!!! This film is timeless. It's so important to have teachers who can level with kids and get down to their level and encourage them, inspire them, and motivate them. I feel these sisters to these kids were like the amazing teachers I had in my life who saw me, reached out to me, advocated for me, and motivated me to go out in the world with courage and conviction. I grew up in Tasmania, Australia. I had Sister Act 2 on DVD. I played Oh Happy Day and Joyful Joyful over and over so many times I nearly wore a hole in the DVD. To this day they are both 2 of my favourite songs of all time. Those voices!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve loved this movie since it came out when I was in elementary school.. I went to a private Catholic school in Corpus Christi, TX and all our teachers were nuns.. I was part of the schools show choir and we did a rendition to joyful joyful and I still remember the dance until this day because it was so close to the routine that was in the movie.

I’m flying out to see extended family for my grandmothers funeral in 2 days. The last time we are all together, my cousins and I were kids. My uncle purchased Sister Act II and we watched it like 200 times. I still didn’t know what exactly the Ice Capades were until Wikipedia came out 😂

His arrangement of joyful joyful is amazing. This film was the one that has given me the strength to sing. I was 8. I still do an office job but my mum tells me I should be on stage. 😂 thank you to every cast member ❤
