Jessica Lange is too wonderful for words.

I honestly never really liked her cuz the whole Meryl thing till i realized they where being pitted against each other I did not have to like Meryl more cuz she did not get cast for King Kong I think Jessica is an amazing actress but my big money is on michelle Fairely aka catelyn stark whom was a big Irish name till game of thrones I am sure some Americans knew who she was but let’s be honest game of thrones really put her on Hollywood’s radar cuz she was swarmed with offers after game of thrones and she was like no I fucking love that woman .

Jessica Lange is always an amazing actress and she of course did great in GG. I strongly feel that Drew deserved the Emmy for Best Actress! Comparing the film to the original documentary, Drew's portrayal of Little Edie was so spectacular. Drew outperformed Jessica in the film by a little, in my opinion.
@hippiedachshunds16326 жыл бұрын
luke I feel that they both were spectacular. Each had scenes where they gave the stronger performance, but in my opinion, it's something like saying a 99 is a better grade than a 98...I cannot imagine more perfect casting for these roles.

Jessica Lange is a tremendous talent. Watch for her in an upcoming documentary, "The Needs of Kim Stanley" Jan. 2015. She and Kim Stanley were FABULOUS together in "Frances" and in the 1984 production of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

Why was there a need for this movie even to be made? There wasn't. Neither actress could match the real characters, who are available for your acquaintance in the documentary itself.

I would dare say though, 20 years ago, when barbara walters was sixty, she was still a beautiful woman. Past 70, she didnt quite hold up like raquel welch, but I say check out barabara 15 to 20 years ago, and you'll see a good looking broad.

Atleast Jessica has a heart ... Some people have none. Some people have money for liposuction and all the fixens ... talking about 80 yr old boobs. Those women had spirit even in their terrible conditions. Both Lang and Barrymore looked soo perfectly like them and played them soo well it was like wstching the real women they were portraying. Amazing! The make up artist's and performances!!! Some people put themselves on a pillar thar they really don't belong on. They don't understand that they could be in the same place if life beats them down enough. Where was any of the family? If I would have known them I would have tried to help them and put it out there Blazing for the public to see. Did Jackie O ever help them? Shameful.

Watching this clip in 2023, thinking about how The View has changed over the years, and not in a good way. The screeching woke Marxist hysteria of Joy Behar, the TDS infecting the entire panel even the token Republican, and how much the professionalism of Barbara Walters is sorely missed….impacting everything on that show even including Whoopi’s dress code!

Jessica and Drew were INCREDIBLE in this. I have never seen actors nail the looks and mannerisms of the original characters so well. They both deserved Best Actress awards.
