Well, that sounds promising. The King might like to strip those titles himself, but in this day and age he can’t just wave the scepter around, knock out a new Letters Patent and make things happen. Taking those titles will require the full support of the PM to make sure the motion can get successfully pushed through Parliament. Amended add-on: Which is why nothing was attempted earlier. It would have been a major blow to the King to have made a request to Parliament only to have it refused, which has been a real risk up to now.

When the Beckhams went to Invictus, it was by Harry's invitation. To ignore him was terribly insulting and a slap in the face. There is no bigger promotion to gain support for this event than to have a sports icon like David, throwing his enthusiasm behind the games. Harry and Meghan used them. David was there to support Harry and the games. I would end that friendship quickly.

Love you two together, lots of fun. When you Girls were talking about animals, it reminded me about a sad event that happened to my dear friend. Her ginger cat of many years went missing, which was out of character. Her daughter came home and said their cat was dead in the gutter, must have been hit by a car. My friend was devastated, so she got one of her new bath towels and got her husband to retrieve the poor cat and wrap it in the towel and bury it in their back yard. A couple of more days past and their cat turned up at the back door ALIVE but hungry. Turn out they had buried a strange cat. At least that cat was given a loving funeral service and is laid to rest in the yard of a loving family. Best wishes x

Same thing happened here when I lived in California. Neighbour came and knocked on the door and told my housemate that her cat was lying by the side of the road. We went and looked and she became distraught. Her parents came quickly and comforted her. Both her father and I dug the rocky soil and it was hard work just to dig up a small shallow grave and it was a hot day too. Just as we finished the burial, my housemate’s cat came sauntering along the top of the fence. Guess all black cats look the same. We asked around and found out the cat belonged to couple of guys up the street. Can’t say I was relieved when the two guys said it was best to leave it buried.

My husband is on year two of trying to grow tomatoes. The groundhogs have discovered them. He uses a live trap to bring them up into the wooded hill near us. Being so hot we have to regularly check. The baby raccoon wasn't happy with me. I was afraid to release him. So I fed him and got shade set up. He enjoyed the goodbye black walnuts I handed to my husband. He said he gladly and quickly shoveled every nut into his mouth. 😂😊 My husband is guarding the 2 strawberries that are almost ripe. I have a feeling they've been munched on! Happy Birthday to my Jon. 🎉 Loved the Saturday coffee and chat ladies! ❤

Good morning, Ladies! How great to see you together again! A couple of my favorite books… Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell, and Mystery in Marrakech by Betty Cavanna. I was always a voracious reader up until I had kids. Today I turn 69, and they are still a couple of my favorites! Several years ago I told my daughter how much I loved these books, and one year for my birthday, she sent me copies of both! 😊

Events you're discussing regarding Harry's court case sounds like the anticipation you feel that builds up while reading a murder mystery...a little eerie if it does become a "who dunnit!" 😂😊 Guess it will all unfold as time goes by...in the meantime, we can let our minds explore all of the possibilities of where these stories are leading...that is, if we want to jump into a lot of rabbit holes!! Have fun 😊😊. Thank you, Shauna and Taz, for an enjoyable podcast. ❤❤

What a delight to be allowed to evesdrop on a conversation between two likeminded, intelligent, informed women! Thank you Shauna and Taz. I had a wee chuckle at your disclosure of your early reading years Shauna. I was of Enid Blyton's early era and read all of her books avidly.....right from the Noddy series up. My sister bought a copy of "The Faraway People" for our elder daughter when she was around 4 years old....she's in her 40's now but I still have the book....and the rolls of stickytape holding it all together 😂😂. Being an Omnibus collection I think I read that book through at least 6 times. I recently noticed that daughter had bought her own daughter a copy of the same book and was busy reading through it during their 'bedtime stories'. The love of reading and books can never be ingrained too early! 👏👏👏
