Just Sharing: * Long Journey Home*. Sitting in my living- room , sipping my cuppa tea - I toss aside the news-paper And Settle to watch T.V. Listening to the Re-porter, ..Telling the news of the day.. ' I guess it's the same news again, " It's Seldom The Other Way " # Crime Is Rising - Innocence being tossed,, Confusion Surrounds Us As the eye in the sky ..Is Lost. Laying back to get comfortable, At the ceiling I just stare.. _ I stop and wonder to myself * Doesn't Anyone - Heart- Felt Care ?!* Why do we always ask for change, Or Wish the world was free. And , Why does that pointing finger say.. _ Change You Instead of _ *Change We * Whatever happened to sharing, Respect or The True Meaning of Love. Why is Love so often expressed in A Song, or left to heaven above. While heaven sounds so tranquil ..It Sounds like the Ideal Place, Where Christians find their Answers.. .._ Lives Touched By The Good Lords Grace. Where the sound of laughing children Chasing after blown bubble's ..- A Way From This Kaos World of Ours, So riddled with its troubles. Where close relatives come together, To Say Hello & Never Goodbye, Where broken families have a chance - To Ask The Reasons, Why ?. Where The Colour of Man's Skin is Equal, And the colour of his eyes are enough.. Laying Down Weapons Of Destruction - Holding Out Arms of .. ...Brotherly Love. I guess you'll think that I'm Insane - Crazy It May Seem... But , As With My Brother ' Martin '.. _ I also do have A Dream. Sitting in my living room Sipping my cuppa tea, I toss aside the news-paper And again Settle To Watch T.V. _______________________________ Jane Kellie 1997

This is superb before David Holmes came along and totally fucked up everything for Noel.

Can’t agree more mate, this album’s bloody brilliant and Noel’s set list during this time was also superb. Also not a huge fan of his latest one.

I agree on that the first two album was much better than Who Built The Moon, but I do think that both parties have a saying in how the last album turned out. This is the direction that Noel agreed on.

@@benedekgabor. That's a really good point you've made. I remember thinking it was over for Noel as I thought he was going to work with Holmes for the rest of his career. I wonder what happened between them to end it?

@@xyzxyz997 I don’t know. Maybe Noel changed his mind about going artistically this way, or maybe it didn’t brought the succes that he thought it would. I just can guess at this point. Looking at the latest songs he released I’m guessing his going back to the older style of writing, which I think suits him much better. I mean What’s The Story Morning Glory, and The Masterplan should have been a double album, and the whole thing comes together to 1 year in the life of Noel. I just watched James Hargrave’s video about the topic. It’s almost one and a half hour long but worth a watch. It’s mind-blowing how much sense all it makes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eovSd6KaoL2ojK8

@@benedekgabor. Thanks for your recommendation, I have watched that video but I'm finished with James Hargreaves after he defended Tom Meighan. I was disgusted by that video to be honest.
