what's that, you actually read the hints and even pause the game to double-check? now i kinda miss the old viper who had to upload the same campaign twice and spent 20 minutes walking around the map looking for a objective that was clearly explained in the hints. guess it's time for a hero unit again!

There are not many missions when you are able to control Heroes left, missions are following; - Portuguese 1, Portuguese 2, Portuguese 3, Ethiopian 1, Malay 2, Khmer 1, Burmese 1, Burmese 5, Vietnamesse 2, Vietnamesse 3, Vietnamesse 5 (but these can die), Vietnamesse 6. Portuguese 5 is kinda debatable, cus you can control Hero there, only if you convert the enemy Conqistador.

I'm playing this mission for the first time right now, and I gotta say those healing ponds are amazing. I've been going around the map razing (and for the villages that have rescueable peasants, mostly razing and leaving a single tower with a couple hit points, so the villagers aren't taken as that triggers the main enemy city) the villages, clearing both mines so I get resources piling up, and destroying the Sosso Traders town up north so I can use their land and resources to start my base. I haven't claimed the Gaia units either. So I'm gonna destroy everything but the green city carefully with my starting Light Cavalry, claim as many resources as possible including all the camels and goats, and then claim the Gaia units and villagers once all the rest is done so I don't trigger the enemies until everything is done and I'm ready to build and crush them. It takes more time and careful fighting to do it this way, but it'll allow me to be completely focused on green when I'm done, ready, and have tons of gold from the mines.

When I played this mission 3 years ago, there was bugged victory condition, I completed the main objectives, but the game would not want to end :-D. It was also way harder, you should be glad its all fixed now.

Iliketowatchyou The 5th mission is incredibly easy. Just send 2-4 villages north and wall off the bridge, then build a castle and a siege workshop to produce mangonels (to siege onagers). After that just boom and then spam the wonder with like 160 champions and a few bombards/trebs. Be aggressive, as the hints tell you.
