If you have soldering skills and know how to use sheet metal, you can create different size pallet knives. I have used soda can metal and pounded it together with a ball peen, then using a soldering iron, I can add a handle and then shape my knife. This is really quite beneficial when you want to do a knife only painting. It really help with the shadows.

Naale, I enjoyed this video with the pallet knife. I gave it a shot and surprisingly it turned out ok. I had a lot of trouble letting go with trying to be so detailed because I am a perfectionist at heart and severely OCD. I've used a knife in many of my paintings but never painted solely with one. It's harder than it looks. You have great style and offer the viewer nice texture and color harmony. Thank you for sharing. DJ

You mentioned in the beginning you mixed cerullean blue and white. I tried it and phthalo blue and wnite was closer to your color. Also, do you use thinner when mixing colors?
