Even years later, I come back to this video so often because it gives me chills. Such an amazing editing job. I really thought Torres was gonna be a Chelsea legend, but I still loved the teams he was a part of. That Champions breakaway goal of his was so cathartic.

And this is something to be proud of? He cost Chelsea 50 million back in 2011, after leaving Chelsea he scored about 50 goals, and he was a striker. and which goal you are talking about in semi final? he was a flop at Chelsea, period. I have never seen such a good player to lose confidence as he did. Every one thought after scoring his first goal everything will back to normal, but it was not that way unfortunately. I really don´t know what happened to him, it was like he was scared while he was playing for Chelsea.

Yes he was a flop when you look at the figures, but most Chelsea fans when thinking about Torres remember the goal in the Nou Camp (that while technically insignificant released all the tension from one of the most stressful nights of our lives supporting Chelsea), remember that it was him that won the corner that lead to Drogba's goal in the CL Final, and all those negative feelings we felt at the time just wash away. It's quite telling that despite how bad he was for us through large spells of his time at the club how the live crowds always stuck by him & few fans have scathing things to say about him in hindsight. He always tried & always spoke highly of the club, specifically the fans, and does so to this day.

@@SomeUnremarkableGuy It wasn't confidence that ruined him, he got a big injury at the 2010 world cup final, that and a few injuries prior to that he lost a yard of pace and never hit that top form again. If you actually look at his career for all clubs he was never that clinical in front of goal bar that one amazing first season at liverpool. he averaged about 15-20 goals in all competitions per season. I'm a torres fan but he was never a van nistelrooy or henry in terms of world class center forward for goals.

im a massive torres fan and without a doubt hes well on the road to recovery and like you said hazard and will bring a boost of confidence to him not to mention the chelsea winning the champ league and spain in the euros but managers of both chelsea and spain need to realize the key to him becoming the legend he once was is they need to play him more, he has a good game then is on the bench the next. keep playing him and he'll keep improving
