In terms of Dimash’s range - it is about 5 octaves but no one knows the exact range. But once he said in an interview, singing is not about high notes but convey your emotion beautifully. I think that is most important too as an audience

Nobody knows his full range, he don't want to tell this. But when he traveled by plane a person from Kazakhstan spoke to him on plane and then post on IG that he said sometimes he can sing 7 octaves. Probably it is not supported yet in full but he will come to that for sure, he is 24 years old, who knows what he will do in the future. Thank you for reaction.

No one knows his full range except Dimash himself and his teacher. Also its changing with time cause he is constantly working on his vocals (techniques etc) and widening it. However this has been discovered recently: he could reach the 7th octave but "only" 6,5 with support.

Based from all his perform ever recorded his range known currently E2(lowest note) - B5 (highest belting) - F6 (highest head voice) - D8 (highest whistle). Dimash was never officially announce his vocal range, so there really high possibility his real range even wider

I think you need to update your analisis🙂 By the way you do know that Dimash said a year ago that his supported range is 4,5 right?(could be more now,certainly! Since he is progressing all the time) Cause, i see many of you guys still doubting about his support 🤔🤔 "Straining with ease" is *impossible* contrary to what some might have claimed. And his head voice is the most powerful headvoice that exists/ ever existed. Its not a counter tenor's head voice, its even more powerful than women's , can you imagine that? I do know as male his HV was great but for female there quite many can hit F6. Ex: Sohyang can hit A6 live and hit D7 during practice. There also few opera singer can hit 7th octave. But watching his performances is enough to notice these. And nope no exageration about his head voice, many female opera singers must be jealous of it. I am 😩😆 Sohyang ? But her thing is belts, right -craaazyy mix👌 Her headv cant be cmpared to Dimash's thouhh. really Also higher doesnt mean better , but you must know that alrdy😉😉 Dimash is classicaly trained, you could reffer to him as opera singer specifically when comparing with other opera singers , equal to equal. Am *agree* about Dimash as the 8th wonder.... 1. Bariton - tenor - mezzo soprano - soprano in 1 vouce cord. His range might be from A2 till E6. Breast voice: A2 - F5 Falsetto vouce roughly F4 - E6. His chest and Falsetto are overlapping in same range almost 1 octave.... have not heard other singer can perform this. 2. His ability to transfer the emotion beyond the barriere of language is so rare to match. 3. Other VLogger mentioned he has 4 different timbre and switch them back snd forth *so easy* ....

So Hyang Kudaibergenov do you even know that we might hit some notes lower and higher than we usually hit? Just like that D8... I think he was caught in the moment or something. He wasnt supposed to hit D8 but he hit it anyway. Very high notes are a very hard to control. I just realized that it was my mistake for not explaining it better.... his real vocal range might be 7 but only 6.5 is supported. Or only 6.5 that he can control. Is it a better explanation for you? The other 0.5 sometimes he can hit sometimes he cant. Even mariah carey said it herself that she didnt know whether the whistles would come out or not. You have to realize that a lot of us, even you, do not have english as the first language. So you should ask nicely first before you start to think that I am stupid for not knowing things and need to be taught things.

Currently his range (so far from a multitude of his live international performances) is six octaves from F2 to a sustained D8. You can hear him holding the D8 note at about the 4min 39 second mark of the Gakku concert performance of "Unforgettable Day" - kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2aViXefoctpaJo [and no it's no a mic malfunction -- it's been checked and it is Dimash holding the D8 note]

Thank you for a wonderful reaction 😀 I found this in an article: “According to one of his interviews, he himself said his vocal range is 4.5 octaves, close to 5 octaves. Update on 9/17/2017: A musician whom Dimash worked with in China tested his vocal range when they were in a meeting. It turned out that Dimash’s vocal range is 6 octaves!! The musician posted this on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter.” Another place it says that his range + whistle is A2 - D8 = 6 octaves 3 notes...... 🧡 I think it has been confirmed.....

OMG!! I have been waiting for this coach!!! thank you so much! His range as we know it is from A2 to D8. and he always says his total range is a secret, coz he definetely has more. but once he was talking with a friend of his on a plane and later that friend wrote to his IG that Dimash said his range is mostly stable at around 6,5 octaves.
