When I heard the song for the first time I was sad and didn't know why. Now as I watched the English subtitles I just burst into tears and was trying to control them from falling down. Geez there's a river of tears on my keyboard now. I love Dimash for giving us the pleasure to hear him sing.

Dimash is a whole package..not just a voice and a musician..When you watch the back stage , and interviews etc.. you will discover that he is the most wonderful and loving young man...he comes from a very close knit family who are also greatly loved by his fans...often you will see him looking rather disconnected to his surroundings... because he does not speak Chinese..he has to have what is said, and what he says translated...He learned the Chinese for this song in one week...phonetically ...Does he work very hard at his craft...extremely...So there really is a lot to love about him....

Heartbreaking.... I have listened to him sang this song many times but it just hit me right now how sad the true story behind it and finding that the composer and singer of this song adopted the surviving child. I cried in tears along with you Frank. I saw your facial expression while reading the story and I felt pain inside me. Dimash sang the song with heartfelt emotion and I did not even notice that he had throat problem . OMG ! c'est la première chanson qui m'a fait connaitre Dimash il y a de cela plusieurs mois, ce jour là, j'ai pleuré toutes les larmes de mon corps et je me suis demandé qui était ce gamin de 23 ans qui soulevait en moi tant d'émotions. Depuis, je ne l'ais pas quitté un seul jour et je crois bien que ce sera jusqu'à mon dernier souffle. Depuis, j'ai visionné cette chanson des dizaines de fois avec beaucoup d'émotions encore mais moins intenses et perturbantes. Aujourd'hui, je ne sais pas pourquoi avec ta réaction, je réagi comme ce jour passé, les larmes viennent d'elles même. Merci pour cette nouvelle et encore superbe réaction.

Thank you - this is a wonderful song - heartfelt message. You are right - his voice problems had nothing to do with his singing - he had a bad cold and sore throat - just like the rest of us humans. But unlike most humans - he didn't want to disappoint the audience - but sang anyway - and did it wonderfully! Seeing the other contestants being so concerned for him was great - they all adopted him as their younger brother - he was the youngest to ever appear on the show at 22 (turning 23 during the show) - they even gave him traditional Chinese medicines to help.

I just did some research on Dimash and found out that his parents are not dead but are well-known singers themselves. They put him into a music school, when he was only 5. I thought you might like to know. I'm sure you don't like feeling duped, neither do I. I wonder how this story started. 😔 This takes nothing away from Dimash nor his talent, only from the ones who created this farce. Thought you'd like to know.😊

Great reaction. Thanks Coach! Now that I've seen how you appreciate the lyrics, I think you're gonna love Dimash's rendition of _"Late Autumn"_ (or _"Autumn Strong"_ ), episode 4 of *"Singer 2017"* . I see you used the subtitled version from Gloria Wu's channel. I recommend the same as well for _"Late Autumn"_ . Gloria's _"Late Autumn"_ vid has the backstory too, just like this _"Daybreak"_ vid of hers. Personally, _"Late Autumn"_ is *my favorite* of all of Dimash's "Singer 2017" performance. The melody is just so, so beautiful, Dimash sang it angelically, and the lyrics and the backstory destroyed me, in a good way :) .
