Mariah has a unique and distinct style of singing. She sings this airy chest voice then transitions to falsetto then to full chest then back to airy then very low note. No other singer does this excellently than Katrina. Plus of course the out of this world riffs and runs of Katrina which is unbridled in the Philippines. Knowing how to WHISTLE doesn't make you a Mariah. That's just a very tiny part. It's the singing style and flawless transitions that really matter. Thanks for reacting to Katrina Velarde. :)

Totally agreed to you... No other singer in Philippines does those things.. That whistling part was a little part.. Its not about just whistle,. But how and where you will used that.. With regards to vocal agility, vocal range and power, vocal technicality.. Thats all Katrinas have..also She always sings with emotions and very souly.. The passion is there ❤️❤️❤️

Better than Mariah in her better years..lower tones, higher tones, amazing interpretation,unique skills...super runs...ufff The problem with that young woman is that she do not born in US and it's asiatics...and the American music industry don't want competition...I'm not Filipino but I'm proud of they're superior voice singers and it's not one,two or three..they are a lot and all extremely good. 10 out of 10 and beautiful girl...
