ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

Ruby's foundation is her family. They provide the strength and support and she provides the talent and hard work ethic that's going to drive her to a successful music career. This is just the start, I see her doing great music in the future. I remember during her audition after she had 4 chair turns her Dad shouting "I told you Ruby"!!! A loving supportive family is so important for a young person male or female.

I was so disappointed when she didn’t win. I read she was in school and her family lost everything from a tornado. So this sweet young lady was then homeschooled to be with her family. 💚❤️🩵🩷💜

Her rendition of Linda Ronstadt's long long time brought me to tears. Ruby as a 16 yr old doesn't have the life experience to sing that song, yet she did it with the FULL emotions of an adult. That's what I call a God given talent. I wish her all happiness and success in her singing career. This young gal could some day be as famous as Reba! Without question she has the talent, drive and mature attitude to do it. I'm sure her parents are incredibly proud of her! She's a powerful young women with a laser focus to be a country singing STAR.

Just had to watch this again for the 100th time in CELEBRATION of Ruby Leigh announcing yesterday 4-26-24, that SHE WILL BE MAKING HER DEBUT ON THE GRAND OLE OPRY AUGUST 2, 2024!!!!! As a father of daughters who sing a perform I understand where the father gets emotional. Every time I am there watching one of my daughters perform live I start tearing up. To see them be vulnerable and push through it with grace and courage is amazing. Just thinking about it makes me tear up.

So I would not call myself a big fan of country music and the first time I heard Linda Ronstadts’ song long long time was in the last of us and I absolutely fell in love with that song. Hearing such a young and amazing singer do a rendition of it gave me chills. Her audition was by far my favorite of the season and I truly hope her career flourishes she’s incredible.

She didn't win first place but I know Reba probably opened some doors for her beyond this platform. There are people who win first place, take the prize money, and you never hear from them again and then there are the runner-ups or second place wins who go on to be superstars... isn't life just strange.
