My grandma who’s 97 this year watched this in 2012 and Mitchell’s performance really touched her and made her cry. I asked her why, she said the distinct difference for her was that he showed simple, natural and honest emotion, nothing put on and the magic of his voice did the rest. You know I’ve just finished watching The Voice AU and I have to agree that this guy Mitchell Thompson should have been and would have easily made it in the top 4 of the competition or even further. He has all the qualities and his voice is truly amazing sure there are no arguments about that. Competitions like these are frustrating sometimes as the best singers don’t always get picked to go further. People want raw talent, he’s such an example, best wishes to you Mitchell Thompson!
