Wow!! I listen to a lot of these auditions and so many were so very good but this guy was outstanding in every way. He has a chance to make it big even if he didn’t get picked for the next round. Whoever puts him under his wing will never regret it!!! Look forward to seeing him make it big and do great things for others in the process. To me that’s what it’s truly all about!!!!

Where the hell did this guy come from: Everything the judges said was true, he was extraordinarily invested in the song, he treated it with the appropriate level of passion and emotion and skill and made it seem as if he had payed some kind of toll for the right to sing it, he occupied the song because, in that moment, it belonged to him, somehow. I was really impressed with him as a person and as an artist and was doubly impressed by the gracious manner in which he addressed the panel and let them know that he would choose all of them if he could, an all around class act that may have just launched him, at great velocity, toward the stars, where he belongs. Oh and have I mentioned that the ladies on the panel both had that shiny-eyed, slightly flushed look on their faces that told me he going to have little trouble appealing to the women among his inevitable crowds of fans.

too bad this artist didn't pick Guy. Mentor selection is so crutial especially on the Voice Australia as every decision is only up to their mentor and no one else for all but the last episode. In America if they make it onto a team they at least get to do the battle round in front of an audience and the other coaches and that gives them a chance to be stolen by one of the other coaches if their performance is amazing. I did not like that Keith didnt give them an opportunity to do a different song and give them an opportunity to work and practice the song and its development with a performance with full band to showcase their ability. It is like they didnt even get any mentoring session at all. I hope Keith will do more for those he is supposed to be mentoring in other seasons. I also hope the Voice Australia will go back to having many performance episodes like they did in the earlier seasons. They need more than one episode where the audience gets to vote a singer through. The current method of Voice Australia makes the determining factor of who goes through solely on your how much you move your coach and no one else. Definitely needs some changes to the structure of the show. If one coach has all the good singers then let them go through to finale based on the talent not on who the coach is. This one person per coach to finally is hurting the show tremendously. The artist who are liked the best by the audience need to be the ones who go through to the next episode except allow the coaches to pick battle wins and knock out rounds. But give other coaches a chance to steal one artist at each battle and knock out round then let all the rest of the episodes allow the audience to decide who goes forward and if one of the mentors has no artists left then that is ok, as this show is for artists to gain experience not just for each coach to have someone to mentor. The coach can always help out in other ways if all their artists didnt make it forward and that might help the coach reflect on their song choices and coaching technics.
