41 here and a classically trained singer. I had aspirations of becoming a professional singer, but ended up going to prison instead. Seeing these videos of people much older than I making a go at singing competitions actually inspires me to pursue my dream still.

Whiter Shade of Pale was Procal Harem's song. At the beginning of the performance, one of the judges said, "Rod Stewart." I don't think Rod Stewart ever sang this one.
